Perfect stay in a Little paradise

Beautiful stay
Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful view! We loved that restaurants and beach activities were within 15-30 minutes away. We also loved the snacks and amenities provided. Amanda was very responsive when we had a late night issue with the fire alarm going off randomly.

Great value

Privacy and Views

Would have been great having a burner plate of some sort to cook with. Otherwise it was perfect and Michael and Amanda were so quick to get back to us with any concerns we had!

Perfect little Oasis

Lovely oasis

The property is completely private and the artistic touches give it such a warm and friendly feel. Although we had to leave early due to weather my husband and I enjoyed our stay so much! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!

Rustic in the Hills

The rain made the outdoor lanai unusable for us, but it looked like it would've been fun.
The property really is nice, remote, and quiet during the daytime. At night you'd enjoy the many bird, frog, and creature calls.
The rain made us have to retreat to the small indoor area which was humid and wet, and the ceiling fan was no match for the weather. Since there was no A/C (I knew there was no A/C when I booked), there was no way to be comfortable.
The host's artwork is a nice touch.
The French Press Coffee Station is a nice touch.
The Outside Shower is a nice touch.
The photos are accurate.
The bathroom toilet really is in the bedroom/kitchen area, and the only sink is the kitchen sink.
A new mattress would be a priority, as the deeply sunken center made my spouse roll into it, and I clinged onto the side of the mattress.
Not upset at the accommodations, location, or hosts.
The weather and mattress made it inconvenient for us.

The mattress is a 14inch tempur-pedic with a
4 inch memory foam topper a non allergenic feather bed all inside a sure guard mattress encasement. We are 1600 ft in elevation and there is no air conditioning need. 70 to 73 during the day & 60 to 65 at night.
Please let me know if you need anything during your stay or if you are uncomfortable in anyway :)

Great Anniversary Getaway

Great time high about Kailua-Kona!
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaySpotless little hideaway! The views are amazing from way up above Kailua-Kona Town. This little place is perfect if you don't mind kind of roughing it a bit. The room has a toilet and a sink, so it's not really roughing it.The outdoor shower is private, with hot water and natural soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The king size bed is raised up so that when you sit up you can see out the window! The only thing that I didn't quite understand from the description is that the parking is actually on the street. Once my brain figured it out, it was fine! The patio is amazing with several places to sit and relax.
