Lovely surroundings, lovely village feel, hotel very nice. Friendly staff, good service. Basic room but perfect for a overnight stop!

Fantastic hosts, friendly locals, rooms still have a little bit of work to do but clean and comfortable, hospitality more than makes up for it

To expensive for what it was

The first room we were in had a terrible damp smell in it and the previous occupants empty shower gel etc was still in the shower cubicle. We asked to be moved room, which we were without a problem. The second room was ok, although the bed sheets were clean, the bathroom and room it’s self could of been cleaner. Again there were empty wrappers in a draw from previous occupants. The shower tray filled with water and overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Over the four nights there was no house keeping touched our room- disappointing to say the least. We felt the cost did not reflect the standard of the room, it did not even include breakfast.
