While the host is very kind, there was a huge full trash can at the stairs entering the treehouse. There was dirty laundry on the very top floor in the common area in addition to a bat, ripped cushions and generally very dirty. While it is a tree house, I expected the common area to not be so dirty. In addition to this, the futon was very wobbly and extremely difficult to sleep on without falling off. There were also unleashed pets on the property. The bathroom is across the hall and not in the unit which is not in the description.

This review was posted immediately after we asked them to pay for the damages for the tv. After this family checked out, it was discovered the new flat screen tv was cracked and beyond use. The credit card we had on file was declined.After the reservation was made I had to request a new credit card because our processor stated there was “No Account” for the first credit card.The reservation was made for a family of four, however there were four adults and three children with two vehicles. We can be flexible about children, but adding two extra adults is just blatantly disregarding the rules. The review above is far fetching to justify their actions.

Misunderstanding about check in caused us to leave and return later. Host was very nice.

Enjoyed the simplicity of the place and loved seeing the chickens and goats! Owner was very friendly- would stay here again.

Let me start by saying I should have done more research on this place before I booked it. I didn’t realize the bathroom was separate, that it wasn’t actually in Homer, and that the cabin was in a greenhouse. Make sure you are comfortable with the type of property this is before booking. The cabin itself has nice decorative touches, and there are lovely animals on the property. However there is a very noticeable musty/mildew smell in the cabin. Opening a window didn’t help at all. The smell meant I barely slept. The cabin was also not fully clean-the far side of the bed was filthy. Unfortunately we had to make the decision to leave a day early without a refund. I texted the owner with a polite message letting them know we were leaving early and wondering if they were able to refund any part of our second night. I didn’t even receive a reply, so their customer service is also lacking.

We paid for 2 beds, only one was made and usable. The loft was full of flies and not able to be slept in. There's no indoor bathroom.
