Avis Family Friendly and great for reunions and groups.

This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken care of! The home was also stocked with paper goods and soaps. Washer and Dryer are there if you want to pack even lighter! Plenty of space to play games by the pond - paddle boats for the kids, gazebo with large grill. Explore the town of Honesdale just south, boating on Lake Wallnaupak about 30 min away, head north to go tubing on the Delaware (I recommend Lou's Tubes) and play in Tanners Falls nearby. Only drawback is lack of cell reception (which is also a plus!) Owner was very responsive when we asked about the lawn getting mowed. Report any problems and it's taken care of!

Facility is great for a large family/group get together. Place was well stocked with everything we needed. It is an older structure in need of some minor repairs but still a very comfortable and clean place to stay.

This house was great for our family's weekend trip. There was plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The pool table, swingset and trampolines were perfect for our kids (ages 4-15) and kept them entertained for hours. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the house was very cozy. We can't wait to visit in the summer!
