Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Very clean. The grounds were amazing- gardens, waterfall, sitting areas- all well taken care of, even in October. Gorgeous view of the river. We appreciated the uniqueness of the hotel, which included the historic elevator, glass doorknobs, louvered doors at our room entrance. The only difficulty we experienced was when we tried to get our ice bucket filled. This had to be done at the check-in area, and with a staff member. We had to look everywhere for an employee and finally found someone in the restaurant to help out. A minor quirk to a pleasant stay.

Lovely old hotel
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe enjoyed the ambience of this hotel...very classy. It was a bit of a nuisance to need an attendant for the elevator, though. In-room coffee would have been nice. Appreciated the fridge. It seemed that voices from the next room came through the bathroom register, which was annoying. Lovely old hotel and beautiful grounds.
