Nice place noisy neighbours
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HotelsEverything great and we were surprised at how nice the place was. Stay was somewhat spoilt due to a couple next door who felt it was ok to be noisy and use very industrial language late at night. I can only assume this was down to alcohol

The duvet had a massive blood stain that you could clearly see through the cover , lazy housekeeping . The breakfast was ver poor and again the area around the coffee machine and unit it was placed on is absolutely filthy , it is not 1 or 2 days or dirt . Breakfast was okay but slow especially when only about 4 tables at breakfast , continental looks liked a left over boot sale, all a mess . Needs management to take a long hard look at these areas . Food was nice at the restaurant and waitress lovely .

As discussed that evening, I thank you for bringing it to my attention- I have spoken with the Housekeeping team and our external laundry company to ensure this does not happen again. I do hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay after I had personally stripped the bed and redressed it with new bedding and fresh linen.We do hope you return another time to allow us the opportunity to improve on your review this time around.Warmest Regards.

The room was very clean 👌 the staff were very welcoming always had a smile on their faces and were also tentative to our needs 😀 I would highly recommend

Watch out for false advertising of the rooms. Having specifically booked the premium room for the bath tub we arrived to find no bath. Apparently it’s only in two of the premium rooms and not as advertised. The staff were not really apologetic and told me I had to call ahead to ask for a bath and as I hadn’t done this it was not possible to change rooms. The attitude was one of disinterest and not hospitality, especially from the management which is really disappointing. There was no offer of compensation for the misselling of the room, even the offer of a round of drinks would have been something but no. Would not recommend! Which is a shame as the food and the serving staff were really nice.

Good Afternoon Nicola,I do apologise that you feel the room you booked with us via Expedia was advertised falsely to you. We do have one Suite with a roll top bath in the room, but unfortunately you had booked one of our Family rooms- all of which are slightly larger rooms with a sofa/sofa bed available; but only half of which offer a bath. Regrettably the two Family rooms with baths were already checked into upon your arrival and we were not able to move you into one of these bedrooms. Please do call ahead next time you stay to request a bath, and we will of course ensure we are able to provide this for you.I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us in all other regards, and we hope to welcome you back again sometime soon.
