Perfect getaway
Publié le 25 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time.

It's quiet, secluded, and a great spot for fishing or bird watching. Can't recommend it enough-- we're already planning our stay for next year. Honestly, if the owners are ever looking to sell... I'd buy it!

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location on the Juniata River. We saw deer, chipmunks, fish (BIG FISH), turtles and a Baltimore Oriole bird, yellow finch, blue heron. Peaceful - kids stayed on the river all day kayaking, swimming & fishing. Beds were comfortable and A/C was a blessing. PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

Memorial Day Weekend
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our third visit. It is a perfect spot right on the banks of the Juniata. It is not a far drive for biking the local HB&T Trail, Abandoned PA Turnpike and a little further away is the Lower Trail. Also several shops and restaurants in Everett and Bedford. This is a cozy, rustic getaway that we have come to very much like. Susan is the perfect host!
