Concerns for the Blue Parrot - Hopkins Belize

1. The doors, though they are new doors they were hard to open with the key. We spent close to 4 minutes trying to open the door until our neighbors who also had the same issue helped us open the door. This is a safety issue as in order to open the doors in case of a fire you need to use the key to exit the room once the doors are locked. We tried opening the second door and gave up after 4 minutes. This is very dangerous especially for new renters who are not familiar with the locks.
2. We where unable to remove the key in the safe found in the room which made our values at risk.
3. The soap dispenser did not work, so we just removed the pump and poured the soap out.
4. The shower handle fell off, but was easy to put back on.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions to improve our product. The doors and locks you refer to was replaced in October 2018. We reached out to the manufacturer to inspect the functionality of the door locks. We always provide phone numbers for our property manager who is available to address any concerns of our guests at any time. The lock codes, WIFI password and contact info is provided to all guests about a week before arrival and the property managers visit with our guests the day after arrival.

The home is very beautiful and clean. Perfect location right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants.
The local property managers are very friendly, responsive, and helpful with any issues or questions you may have.

Beautiful villa right on the beach! Close to bars and restaurants, walking distance.

Elegant home with Beach at the Back yard
Publié le 16 janv. 2018 sur ExpediaThis is an independent home even though a part of Hopkins Bay Resort. The resort is 1/2 mile away where one can use facilities including beach volleyball, Kayaks, pool.
Many good restaurants are reachable by walk on the beach. There is a dive shop next door for diving and snorkeling expedition.
