What a dump!

Roach in sink. Heater didn't work. Clerk did not speak ANY English. Uncomfortable bed. No breakfast served (as advertised).

It's alright

This hotel is cheap, and you get what you pay for. I mean, it wasn't terrible but don't expect it to be as nice as a $100 room when you're only paying $50. It's old. The furniture was falling apart but the bed was comfy and the shower worked real well and it was a large room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I've stayed in nicer $50 hotel rooms, but I've also stayed in worse. The location is great if you plan on visiting bathhouse row. Only about a 1 mile drive.

Lower your expectations

I could make a number of criticisms - the unpleasant odor one experiences upon entering the room, the generally unsavory clientele, the seemingly disoriented woman behind the desk - but the truth is, this is a cheap place to stay within walking distance of the heart of the city, and that's what really matters. My companion assured me she had been to worse. Just don't expect anything resembling luxury.

Horrible hotel. Looked like it was vacant. The Bates motel looks better. Need serious remodeling!!!! Room was sorta clean. Base boards were nasty. Beds were clean and floor had just been mopped. Walls freshly painted but very sloppy. Toilet sink & tiles were from the 50s and not in good condition. Man at front was very nice though. Brought us extra towels. Overall not too happy.
