Yearly mountain getaway
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe love this property! We stayed here last year and it was perfect so we had to come back! It definitely feels like im walking into grandmas house! They let us stay an extra night and they were super fast to respond with anything we needed! The only thing we missed this time around were the neighbors chickens roaming around! Haha

Grandma’s house

The hot tub was great. The porch/backyard was peaceful. The location was absolutely beautiful.
My only complaint was that the floors under the bed hadn’t been cleaned properly and there is no washer/dryer. However neither of those things really interfered with our stay.
The hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly.
I would absolutely stay here again.

perfect spot in the middle of nowhere
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwaywife asked to get completely away from everything to decompress. well hot springs nc is that place. amazing 2 block town along the appalachian trail. grandmas house is the place to stay. cozy. hot tub and fire pit is just what the body needs after a day of hiking. we will definitely be back and will stay at grandmas house for sure. thank you sherry

A Sweet Stay!
Publié le 4 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe opened the door to Grandma’s House and immediately felt welcomed and at home. The space was perfect for us— cozy but not too small; comfy, clean and warm. It’s clear that this house is loved by its owners. We enjoyed cooking in the perfectly adequate kitchen, looking at the stars from the back porch, and relaxing after long hikes in the hot tub. We loved this little haven and plan to return.

Publié le 7 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayHouse was very clean and the location was perfect! Stocked with all the amenities we needed. The only negative was sleep was difficult due to the neighbor dogs, and that is no fault of the owners.

Gorgeous yard, close to Hot Springs
Publié le 28 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt’s a wonderful property overall. Simple, charming, and fantastic outdoor space. Neighbor’s chickens wandered around the yard and were very entertaining. The fire pit has a lovely view of the mountains.
The only disadvantage to the property is lack of a dishwasher but that is what it is in a house this age. In a weird way it added to the quaintness.
