Beautiful spot!
Publié le 16 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family of four stayed at this property for a lovely visit in October. The spot is gorgeous and right next to Wind Cave National Park. We saw lots of wildlife and the deck. The house had everything we needed.

Thank you for the review!! We enjoy seeing the deer and turkeys mosey by the deck too. Wind Cave gives us views of the bison and antelope, sometimes an elk!

Great vacation spot

Scenic and peaceful

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful home at prime Black Hills location

Great proxinity to Custer State Park, the Mammoth site and all of the many things to do in the area. Peaceful and private. Commu ication with the host was terrific. Looking forward to a future stay!

Great location for family and lots of wildlife
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe did not realize how close we were to Wind Cave Park! We saw so much wildlife in that park and got stuck in a herd of buffalo crossing the road; it was amazing!
The house had what we needed but nothing fancy. We were there over some very very hot days which did make cooling the loft and back bedroom a challenge in the evening but overall a good property for our needs.
The night we arrived we had issues with one toilet. I texted the property manager and they came out the next day to fix it. We also had questions and it was super easy to just text her and got fast responses.
The check in and check out process was probably the easiest we’ve had with a property rental.
We also had female elk, mule deer, turkey and a coyote in the front yard which was really cool!

Wind Cave Cabin
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGorgeous views from property. Good location, not far from Hot Springs. Hot tub appeared unsanitary and we didnt use. Need to weed landscape better. Remove carpeting from bathroom upstairs. Loved the deck and having quiet of the countryside. With a few updates and touchups would be a fabulous spot.

Thank you for the review. We learned that something was happening with the hot tub and have since resolved. Please let us know during the stay next time and we will definitely work to resolve any problems during your stay with us! We continue to update something each year and agree that one of the next updates is removing the carpet in the bathroom. There is definitely always another weed to pull in the country! We love the views and the quiet as well.

Peaceful and Well Located
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy friend, her son and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of land for peace and quiet. The sky was big and the views were fantastic. This property is well located too. Only 10 minutes from Hot Springs where we dined mostly. And to the north are so many attractions and parks which we enjoyed very much. Lastly, I would like to say the communication was great: fast and helpful replies.

It was an awesome location for a trip to South Dakota.
