I'm sorry to hear you felt this way about your stay, especially as a returning guest. However, I feel it’s necessary to address a few key points you left out. First, you never reached out to mention any of the issues during your stay, which could have been quickly resolved had I known. Instead, we only learned about these after you left the property in poor condition, with numerous damages, including a bed frame held together with black duct tape and bricks, a patio chair that had been broken through, a damaged front door latch, and a completely broken shower head. None of these were reported during your stay, which is puzzling given the extent of the damage. Additionally, the entire house smelled strongly of both cigarettes and marijuana, and ashes were found in both sunroom patios—strict violations of our house rules. My cleaning team had to deep clean and air out the home for the next guests. We also had to make emergency repairs, including replacing the bed frame and shower head and hiring a locksmith to fix the front door before the next group checked in. I’m sorry if you felt the property wasn’t as expected this time, but the condition you left it in tells a different story. I also find it concerning that none of these issues were mentioned until after I filed a damage claim. It’s disappointing that you would resort to a negative review as leverage in response to being held accountable for these damages. Our properties are consistently well-maintained, as reflected in hundreds of five-star reviews (with some even mentioning how quickly an issue was resolved and how easily I am to reach). I always encourage future guests to read through the other reviews to get a more accurate sense of what we offer. We are always available to address any issues during a stay, but clear communication is key.
