Peace and Quiet
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the home and the owner was very accommodating. Loved the peace and quiet. Coming into the driveway, there was junk on either side of it, like a junkyard. The inside of the house needed to be finished, like many rooms were in need of final painting. If that was all taken care of, it would be perfect! The location, wildlife, and serenity made the negatives tolerable. We would stay there again!

Quiet and peaceful

Natalie, its all good except for VRBO's lack of trained Customer Service.
I approved your request for cancelation & VRBO suspended my account as of last week. I believe VRBO should review their own policy for cancelation. They told me it was an Avoidable Cancelation. If it wasn't so irritating I could laugh but guests cannot view their own reservations.

Absolutely AMAZING!
Publié le 14 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a bachelorette party stay for the night. Not only was Steve accommodating, he went above and beyond what any host should do. He let us know to call if we ran into any issues, and would come and pick us up. We had a wonderful night and were able to have a fire later that evening. After we had coffee and a fresh fruit breakfast, Steve helped us pack up. After leaving, one of our ladies cars dropped their whole exhaust system at the end of his driveway. I called and let him know what happened, and he rushed down with his truck and a jack. He climbed underneath the car and wired up the muffler and exhaust manifold so we could limp the car home. He went so far out of his way to make our stay wonderful. He would get 7.86364 stars out of 5. Extra decimal points for the cinnamon rolls and variety of coffee creamers!

Dione, Thank you for the kind words. I picked up a 13.5x13.5' office structure I am bringing to my property. It is in Edina & the house is going to be demo'd all cedar roof, siding tongue & grove interior with a skylight. This unit will be nice.

Publié le 31 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwaySome how VRBO had dates available that were not actually available but Steve made arrangements so we could still stay! Steve also made breakfast with fresh fruit and arranged it every morning! We left our swim suits out to dry after a river float one day and he didn't just take them down and bring them in he went as far as to wash and dry them for us. We have never felt so welcomed! Definitely will stay again when we are in the area again and definitely recommending to friends and family! Thanks Steve for a great and comfortable stay!

Thank you Dan for the kind words. Hope all is well. I picked up a shower house with an outside shower on Saturday & Sunday I started on a 10x10 man cave in Wayzata that can house a full size log futon that I have. Take care.

Daughters Bachelorette Weekend
Publié le 19 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was a great weekend and from the minute I booked this place, Steve was very helpful and super friendly. We arrived on Friday evening and Steve called to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. There was plenty of room for all of us. Even last minute adding use of the camper - Steve was super accommodating and made sure the air conditioning was running. Breakfast rolls and fruit in the morning was great. We had plenty of room to spread out and also able to decorate a little for the shower. Definitely a great place to stay with a large group!! There were 12 of us!!
