Great family get-together home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our second time staying here! Our large family had plenty of room both indoors and outdoors. The pool was a big hit with the kids. Addition of second refrigerator downstairs was great for overflow! Would stay again!

Great getaway!!
It was beautiful from the moment we drove up! Inside was spacious and exactly what we needed for our large group. They had everything we needed there. We brought food and some toys for the littles and that’s about it!! Great game room in the basement everyone loved. Pool was great, a little colder than we are used to, but kids really didn't mind. Nice yard for kids to ride bikes and play outside too. Host was very helpful and responded to all my questions. Easy check in and check out! We felt very at home and enjoyed our time there! We watched the deer and geese all day from the porch and deck. Thanks so much for having such a great space for a large group! We would definitely stay again.

Winter Getaway.
Stayed for 3 days with our family just to get together. We thought about a water park but with all the little ones and naps it’s hard. This house had it all. The kids had fun in the pool, we all enjoyed the game room and the open kitchen and family room was big enough for us all to be together while doing different activities. We saw deer and eagles. A sled would have been good for a walk with the kids so will remember that next time. The upstairs bedrooms stayed 62. The owner is aware and looking into this. The pool is heated to 80 so if you have little ones may want to ask if it could be warmer before you arrive. We all had a great time and would return.

Plenty of room for a family of 15. Enjoyed the pool and game room. Took advantage of nearby golf courses, Mackinac Island, and casinos. Plenty of outdoor space for games and activities. Enjoyed watching the wildlife. GREAT time was had by the entire family.

Eagle's Nest Home - AMAZING
Our group consisted of 4 families: Family 1 1 Adult 3 children (ages 4 to 12) Family 2 2 adults 1 child (13) Family 3 3 adults 1 child (16) Family 4 2 adults House has everything a large group would need: large dining room, plenty of space, entertainment for all, and a host that is responsive! Kim was in contact with me from beginning to end, answering all of my questions and making sure our group had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, serving bowls, utensils, cups/glasses, and is HUGE, plenty of space to cook and prepare food without being congested. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds, great linens, clean, and spacious. All attached bathrooms were clean, huge and equipped with towels, soap and shampoo. Wi-fi was good, not blazingly fast speeds tho. One person was able to work remotely when needed. I believe it is satellite which cannot be compared to normal wired internet. Mobile service was not really available (Verizon, ATT). Mobile service was better when we were outside. Also, we were able to make wi-fi calls once we connected to the Wi-Fi. We had some suggestions: map coordinates instead of address to the property add an additional refrigerator (it could be located downstairs) basketball hoop TVs in all bedrooms Things we really enjoyed: A/C worked perfectly, pool is bigger than expected and refreshing, and binoculars to view all the deer that appeared on the property We are planning on booking for next year!

The Eagles Nest was everything I hoped for! Pool was fantastic and eating space was perfect for my group. Can’t find too many places like this with 25 beds. Kim answered all my questions promptly and I’m planning to rent this next year. All the guys loved it!

This house is spacious and incredible throughout. It was more than enough space for quite a few of us on an annual golf trip. This house is exactly what we were looking for and would stay here again if possible, year after year.

Highly recommend this place! The layout of the house is just perfect. The kitchen/dining area is huge. It has two seating areas in the family room. 4 out of the 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Great for a family reunion where everyone is together, yet everyone has their own space. Nice trails around the house to hike.

Great stay for the whole family!
This home was amazing. You can tell that the owners really put a lot of thought, time, and money into making a beautiful, relaxing, and fun vacation rental. I stayed there with my whole family as well as my sisters and their families. There was plenty of room for all of us inside and outside the house. The kitchen was so spacious with plenty of seating. The bedrooms more than accommodated our whole crew and were very comfortable. The property was beautifully secluded and offered ample space to set up our volleyball net, exercise in the morning, throw the football, and go for walks. It was also a great location for us being close to Mackinaw and Indian River was close for those forgotten necessities. I will say that the wifi signal was not strong and made it difficult to stream movies for the kids, but we brought our DVD player so it ended up being okay. Overall, this is a great place to bring your family. Whether you use it as a base camp or never leave, you won't be disappointed.

Spacious Property with Something for Everyone
Our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children (5-18) enjoyed a fun week in Northern Michigan at the Eagle's Nest. If anything, the house was even bigger and more comfortable than the pictures show. The indoor pool and basement game room were fantastic for keeping the kids (and adults) entertained for the week. The rooms and bathrooms are enormous which gave each individual family some private space, but the common areas were also very spacious so we had plenty of space to eat and relax together. The property is beautiful, set back from a very private road and surrounded by trees (bring your bug spray and enjoy the trails). The location is a quick and beautiful drive to so many great day-trip locations... Lake Huron, Mackinaw Island, Petoskey, Black Lake, Mullet Lake, so many fun places to visit! Truly the perfect place for a family reunion!

Best trip ever!
I rented this house for my bachelorette party and it was amazing! Kim and Mike are wonderful hosts! The power went out right when we arrived and they were a phone call away! The pictures of the house do not do it justice, the house is well equipped with anything you will need and exceptionally clean. The property is secluded and peaceful. Downtown Indian River is only about 15 minutes away with many attractions! I would definitely book again with my family or friends.

Best. Trip. Ever!
You'll have to book it to believe it. Amazing scenery laced with plenty of activities around the property. We had people going on hikes, bike rides, river fishing, lake fishing, and more! Plenty of room inside to relax and entertain as well. The kitchen was stocked and ready to serve as well. Commercial style flat top cooktop made cooking for 20 a breeze. It even rained and nobody complained when we had to pack it all up and move inside for a day. To say this was the perfect place is an understatement. It was a trip to remember and we'll be booking as soon as we can!

Great place for large gatherings. House very roomy. Dining area outstanding. Bedrooms plentiful. There is an indoor pool that kept the kids wet most of the day. We had six families celebrating Memorial Day Weekend. There were no problems and no issues.

Beautiful home and property
Everyone loved the game room and pool. The kitchen is big and so is everything else in this house. It's is decorated beautifully and we loved seeing frogs, tons of birds, a muskrat, a giant turtle and a glimpse of a coyote in the yard. This was an improvement over our past trips to hotels, highly recommend this property.
