The hotel is a lovely 100 year old building and I loved the art deco vibe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we greatly appreciated being able to check in early as well as have our bags held after we checked out because had an event to attend. The room was clean and well stocked and the bed was really comfy. Location was very convenient to the Astros stadium, where we were going to a tournament. We ate in the hotel restaurant for one dinner and one breakfast. Service was friendly but food was overpriced and mediocre. Overall, a very nice place and would stay again in the future!

My stay was great, however I requested house keeping to come 3 times and never got any one to come to my room, so I had to settle for finding a housekeeper that was cleaning another room on my floor to provide me with extra towels and wash clothes and going to get more body wash since the body wash in the room needed to be refilled.

Amazing Stay
As I was in Houston for the Hot Boys concert, it made sense to stay close to the Toyota Center. My sister suggested the Cambria Hotel so I blindly booked and was good to go for my Houston trip. Upon arriving at the Cambria Hotel, the first floor lobby space is gorgeous. The trendy esthetic captures you as it sits pretty in conjunction with the historic design and feel of the elevators. Heading to the second floor which houses the check-in area and restaurant, the ambiance is beautiful and welcoming. Clean lines. Simple designs. Elegant concepts. The Cambria Hotel has found a way to balance the history of the building yet still be trendy and enhance the beauty. Arriving at the desk, the staff was super friendly. All three had a smile on their face and welcomed me to the Cambria Hotel. I provided my last name and was checked in swiftly. After exchanging friendly coffee convo, I was all checked in and on my way. Arriving to the 9th floor I was greeted by even more beauty. The apartment home door design is captivating with the deep grey color presented. The floor plan itself isn’t confusing as it was very easy to find my room. Once at my room, I scanned my key, the door unlocked and I opened the door. Whew! One word comes to mind: gorgeous! Beautiful artwork. Clean lines Chocolate and Black color concept blended over a white base. Huge Bathroom Comfortable Bed Perfect furniture setup Beautiful light fixtures Truly a great room for the price I paid. The Cambria Hotel.
