Beware

I should have read more reviews. Walking in the hotel smelled a little weird thought it was just a cleaning chemical that my nose was sensitive to. But when I walked into our room, it smells like roach poop. I’m not sure if anyone knows what that smells like. But if you’ve lived or visited anyone that was infested with roaches. Their cabinets would smell like that. There was roaches in our room. When I went to speak to the front desk. I told him what was going on. And instead of him helping me. He was looking behind me watching TV once he was done then he spoke to me. I said a couple more words. And his eyes went back to the TV. And I had to wait for a response because he was still watching TV. They offered me to change rooms. Told him no thanks if there’s one roach there will be more. And I do not want to take roaches home in my luggage. I booked for two nights. Only stayed for one. The hotel did not refund me for the one night I didn’t stay.

Dear Lorraine,We appreciate you staying with us while visiting League City. We apologize deeply for the issues you have encountered with room and our front desk agent. Upon checking the room by our exterminator company, we could not find the any roach activity in the room. We even removed the back splash completely that is showed in the pictures. You could have told us right away after checking into room that you smell roach and we could have given you the different room. We take these issue very seriously. Next time please let the front desk know at any hotel you stay in as it helps hotel to correct the issues.

The staff was very sweet and attentive especially the young lady and the older lady who worked the front desk both amazing and very sweet. I will definitiely stay here again. Thank you for an amazng experience!!
