This cozy and comfortable studio apt gives the feel and mindset of home away from home. The best feature about this place is location, location, location! Centrally located in the heart of Downtown. Save by not renting a vehicle or paying for Uber/Lyft. Many of the hot spots are in walking distance.

If you’re going to an event at the Toyota center or the George Brown Convention, you’ve locked up with this gem. Not to mention the many other great places in Downtown Houston!
The space
This apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, complete with complimentary coffee, sugar, creamer and tea. We provide snacks, chips and popcorn free of charge. There’s a full sized refrigerator with complimentary water. This unit has a full size stove with an above microwave range. This space is updated with central air and heating. A studio apartment transformed into a 1bd apartment. There’s a doorway for the Kitchen & Dining area. There’s also a door that separates the main room from bathroom. We’ve also added an arcade and board games to the space for your enjoyment.

We do have a strict pet policy. We love pets but we don't allow them in the unit. This is a strict policy!

The apartment is very cute for its price. There are things that need repair and improvement, such as the bed, the folding sofa that is really uncomfortable and you can't really sleep on it. Everything is very clean. There is no washing machine as listed. Ernesto responds quickly and is accessible. We had a great time, but it could be improved a little.

DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.

For starters. I know this host will try to respond to this with a very generic response. Do not let that fool you. This space is very old. The building is all but falling apart. The area is super sketchy. Between the cars flying around and the homeless yelling all hours of the night. It was difficult to get a good nights sleep. That was the aspect we could look past. What was NOT negotiable was the mouse droppings, dead bugs, “certain substance” droppings on the floor. The bed was very uncomfortable and the AC failed to get the room under control until around midnight. Once we presented the host with video and photos of every thing he stopped responding. We requested we have a refund for the 2nd night since we booked a hotel instead due to the lack of sanitary and foundational aspects of hospitality. He stopped responding. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Cheap or not you can find better for an extra few bucks elsewhere. This property needs to be removed from VRBO asap.

Nice unit, rough complex

The owner has done a great job setting this unit up, but the building is really rough. Serious maintenance issues around: the floor in the hallway is peeling up, one of the fire exits is zip-tied shut (?!?!), and worst of all, an empty unit had a smoke alarm chirping the whole time I was there. The unit owner was unable to get the property management company to resolve that during my four days there.
