Great base for area excursions

Cute Cottage
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for a short weekend while visiting Penn State and exploring Bald Eagle State Park. The cottage was really cute, and it was nice and quiet and very clean! I did not know that there was a separate rental suite upstairs when I booked the property, but we didn't hear any noise so that was good. It had lots of wonderful conveniences and many touches that made it easy to settle in and made it feel special. We even got to meet Bonita at the store and appreciated the recommendations she provided about places to visit in the area. The book she made for cottage guests had all the information we needed and was very helpful. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

Cutest little cottage!

Perfect for our small family to stay during a three day Penn State Graduation weekend; only about 30 minutes away from campus. Very clean and well-appointed. We used the grill outside for a lovely dinner. Owner communication was excellent, and they went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item left behind after we had checked out. Highly recommend this gem!

Nice cottage

Great Weekend Getaway

We were visiting family in the area and we were glad to have a nice place to stay that was clean and well furnished. It's located at the end of the street so it was quiet, which I appreciated for my 5 month old. Bonita was easy to communicate with during our stay. I would stay here again the next time I'm in the area visiting family.

Perfect weekend getaway

The area was quiet and peaceful and we were a short drive to anything else we needed including a brewery and distillery decorated for the holidays. Thanks!
