The outside of the property looks good, but the inside of my room did not look good. I had a "handicapped" room, even though I was not handicapped. There was one king bed in the room that didn't really fit. There was a dresser that you couldn't use because the bed was too close to it; you couldn't open the drawers. The room seem to have been used for storage, too. One example of this is that there were two large office chairs in the room. The person at the front desk was Indian, which, of course, did not bother me; but he was hard to understand. And the first thing he did was to tell me that I had made my reservation for the wrong dates--the day before the day I arrived and the next day--so I was completely confused. He said to "check your e-mail," which I did a couple of days later. I had not made my reservations for the wrong date, as I thought. He lied right off the bat. He ended up not charging me for having made my reservations for the wrong date, ultimately, but that was a terrible introduction to the motel. Luckily I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. And the first night I was there, I spent a lot of time wondering if I should leave and go somewhere else; but it was around 10pm. Also, on the second night that I was there, an employee knocked on my door and asked if it would be OK for them to shut the water off for a half hour or so, since there was a water problem of some kind in another room. He was nice, but that scared me at first.
