we loved this hotel! when you got into the lobby, it is clean, smells clean and inviting and is very new looking. So in voting. We were going to an event in Wisconsin State Fair grounds, it was exactly 20 minutes to the event. It was perfect. Walking distance from a few restaurants and off the highway in a wooded are. I would recommend highly.

Called property to find out if the pool was open and told it was when we get there find out it wasn’t open very disappointed

I am very sorry for the disappointment of our pool being closed. When you called it was open. Unfortunately there was an incident causing us to have to close the pool for maintenance. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

The property is older than I had anticipated. Things like carpet need to be updated in the rooms.

After paying ahead for the room, the front office wanted a $200 CASH deposit! Never heard of demanding a $200 cash deposit at a hotel before. Ive even stayed at this hotel many, many times over the last 10 years and never experienced this kind of horrible service. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We require either a credit card to be on file OR a 200 cash deposit to cover incidentals. This is a new policy put in place in the last 2 months as we were too often having people cause damage in the rooms and then the card on file declines when we try to charge them for it. This is also something MOST hotels now require. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Couldn't get towels there was a nest of bees outside the door t went for breakfast and they didn't have food

I am unsure why you could not get towels? There is someone at the front desk 24/7 and we are happy to give extra towels upon request. We are aware of the bees near the one entrance. We have been doing our best to spray them and we have contacted our pest control company. If you came down to no food then you probably came down after breakfast ended. Our breakfast is open from 6am until 9:30am as you were notified at check in. Front desk checks the breakfast area every 20 minutes to restock anything getting low and clean any messes guests have left behind. Thank you for taking the time to rate your stay.
