Robbie offered for us to check in early since we got to the area about 10:30am.
Robbie went out of his way to make our accommodations better than was expected.
He gave us tips on where to dine & activities in the area.
He even gave us 2 dz pastured raised eggs from his chickens for us to take home with us.
We’re grateful for making our stay comfortable & successful trip to the beach even on a busy holiday!

Howdy Amy, I am sorry you felt you had to leave a bad review. We are Super Hosts on Airbnb for 19 quarters out of 20. We have received the Travelers Choice Award by Trip Advisor, only the top 10% in the world get this award. In our county we were one of four out of all the other accommodations to receive it. You had one of our best suites in the property and for a price that no other could even come close to matching in the area. How you came up with a 2 out of 5 and no explanation as to what prompted you to leave such a poor review, is very sad and poor on your part. You never mentioned anything to us about what may have prompted you to leave such a poor review. I guess after 15 years of building this business to what it is today, we get all kind of folks, mostly great folks that encourage and uplift small local family businesses, like ours. Obviously, you are one of the few that felt like trying to damage our reputation. If you were at all unhappy with the accommodations in rooms, you booked we could have placed you in one that worked. So sad that you decided to try and disparage our reputation. Karma is a beautiful part of life and ultimately it comes back to the ones who try and place bad karma on others. Best to you!

We live locally and leveraged the “bungalow” to accommodate an overflow of guests in our house during a summer family get together. This is a nicely equipped Winnebago trailer that is detached from the house, and has a great front porch and all needed amenities.
We will be using The White House again for future guests as it’s close in proximity and very comfortable. The owner is extremely kind responsive and helpful! Would recommend 10/10!

Nice Place
Posted Jun. 16, 2024 on HotelsThe room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the door to the common room had blinds that let a lot of light in. The room was lit up at night making it difficult to sleep and the air conditioning unit had a rattle, but that’s not too uncommon for the type of AC.

This property should get 6 stars! It is a beautiful place and perfectly stocked for any traveler's needs. Very clean and comfortable.

I just loved it! So different from our home - a true get-a- way. Robbie, our host , was wonderful. Our room was very clean and the coffee, great! We will come again. I would love to see the grounds in the spring!

Amazing place
Posted Aug. 22, 2023 on HotelsIt was such an amazing experience staying there. Chickens and birds are delightful sight and pick yourself fruit and veggies were special additions. I stayed there alone but I was not scared or felt lonely at all even there was no other guests in the house. The owners were so nice people and I loved how they kept the rooms cozy and clean. I enjoyed cooking from the morning eggs and loved the coziness there.
