Howdy Amy, I am sorry you felt you had to leave a bad review. We are Super Hosts on Airbnb for 19 quarters out of 20. We have received the Travelers Choice Award by Trip Advisor, only the top 10% in the world get this award. In our county we were one of four out of all the other accommodations to receive it. You had one of our best suites in the property and for a price that no other could even come close to matching in the area. How you came up with a 2 out of 5 and no explanation as to what prompted you to leave such a poor review, is very sad and poor on your part. You never mentioned anything to us about what may have prompted you to leave such a poor review. I guess after 15 years of building this business to what it is today, we get all kind of folks, mostly great folks that encourage and uplift small local family businesses, like ours. Obviously, you are one of the few that felt like trying to damage our reputation. If you were at all unhappy with the accommodations in rooms, you booked we could have placed you in one that worked. So sad that you decided to try and disparage our reputation. Karma is a beautiful part of life and ultimately it comes back to the ones who try and place bad karma on others. Best to you!

We live locally and leveraged the “bungalow” to accommodate an overflow of guests in our house during a summer family get together. This is a nicely equipped Winnebago trailer that is detached from the house, and has a great front porch and all needed amenities.
We will be using The White House again for future guests as it’s close in proximity and very comfortable. The owner is extremely kind responsive and helpful! Would recommend 10/10!

Jacob, you are awesome and thank you. We are honored that you choose us for your visiting family members to stay with us. We welcome and love folks that still do great gatherings of family. The White House aka Taylor House and property have always been welcoming others decades before we transformed into the accommodations we are today. Also wonderful to meet a new neighbor. Nice Place
Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HotelsThe room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the door to the common room had blinds that let a lot of light in. The room was lit up at night making it difficult to sleep and the air conditioning unit had a rattle, but that’s not too uncommon for the type of AC.

This property should get 6 stars! It is a beautiful place and perfectly stocked for any traveler's needs. Very clean and comfortable.

I just loved it! So different from our home - a true get-a- way. Robbie, our host , was wonderful. Our room was very clean and the coffee, great! We will come again. I would love to see the grounds in the spring!

Amazing place
Publié le 22 août 2023 sur HotelsIt was such an amazing experience staying there. Chickens and birds are delightful sight and pick yourself fruit and veggies were special additions. I stayed there alone but I was not scared or felt lonely at all even there was no other guests in the house. The owners were so nice people and I loved how they kept the rooms cozy and clean. I enjoyed cooking from the morning eggs and loved the coziness there.

This person never was on the property. They booked it without a credit card. When I called them about payment he acted angry and said he had moved on. He never showed up and never paid never stayed and he leaves this review without details just trying to damage our ratings. Sad such hateful people that try and damage others with lies. I guess we are in the new world of lies are real and OK.

Howdy Terry thank you for booking and staying with us. I am sorry it wasn't clear about breakfast. Maybe others that see this review will understand we don't cook anything. We have a fully equipped kitchen with basic spices, butter, fresh eggs from our chickens, figs, blackberries, beans, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, pears and much more to enjoy from our food forest. Folks can cook, breakfast, lunch and dinner and nosh in our food forest. We are an agri/eco business and want folks to enjoy. Again, thank you for staying with us.

Our family only spent one night but Robbie made us feel like family and at home. When you stay at the White House, you are at home. Enjoy the nice grounds and chickens. We did.
