Fun for a getaway
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur kids had a blast in the outdoor areas around the cabin, it appeared to a safe area. The online listing of the cabin was deceitful. It was much smaller than the pictures and the overall cleanliness was poor, but it is a cabin. Our door didn’t lock and the toaster broke after one use but we made the most of it and had a fun family trip.

Hot and sticky. No AC
Publié le 11 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayNo communication from host prior to arrival. We had questions and without any guidance we had a somewhat uncomfortable stay. We were billed an additional one hundred dollars, which was never explained and charged a cleaning fee for a unit that was NOT clean

Publié le 29 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe place is cozy and quiet. I will say the pictures and description are deceiving. Cabins are very small and very compact. If you like to have alot of room to stretch, then you need to be outside. Also there is no air conditioning so be prepared. All in all though it is a very cute place and very peaceful.

Sauna
Publié le 30 août 2020 sur HomeAwayRustic property was nice enough. Parking is inconvenient. Largest rental and it seemed we were the only ones who couldn’t park near the units. Monique and Robert were nice. The thing that made it unbearable was no a/c, coupled with most/almost all windows unscreened and stuck shut. Many people left half way thru paid stay, too hot. Had to go outside to cool off. The provided box fans just pushed warm air and accumulated dust from under the couches around. Food stuffs in between cushions. Need internal waste baskets and cleaning supplies like a broom and dust pan. Noticed mice droppings in at least one bedroom drawer and smelled of urine.

Great little spot!

The cabins are rustic, but wonderful. Outfitted kitchen, comfy beds and couches, firepit, grill, and and decks.

Nice place with listing errors
Publié le 27 août 2019 sur HomeAwayProperty was nice but the listing is inaccurate. No towels were provided even though it says they are. An air conditioner was provided but it was not hooked up. Thankfully it was cool enough at night.
I was never told where the main cabin was to check in so I called when i got to the cabin and that was good enough for them. Not a bad place to stay they just need to correct the listing errors.
