Faultless accommodation and welcoming hosts
Our dogs enjoyed the secluded position which enabled us to explore the woods and walk by the river with freedom The deer were a regular spot

Publié le 25 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was clean, cosy and well provisioned. The location in a small wooded area surrounded by fields, with the river Derwent flowing by was glorious. We went for early morning woodland walks followed by wild swimming in the river which flowed extremely close by - idylic. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding location. We loved our stay and hope to return

Fantastic short stay
Publié le 7 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe cottage is very impressive on the outside and inside. It is a home away from home and well kitted out. There is so much space and it's very comfortable and clean - you could happily stay for weeks at a time. The host was excellent and good at communicating. Would really like to return.

Holiday Away
Publié le 18 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayBrilliant - good enough to call 'home'. Great hosts - arrived early but all was ready and the stove was lit (and cosy). Everything worked as expected. Wildlife all around you - if you care to look. Would we stay again? Such a silly question. Of Course. Plenty too see and visit within a 30 minute drive. Sorry to leave and return to real life but we can and will return. Easy to find on Google maps and SatNav. Overall 5* or A+
