Disappointing

We didn't enjoy our stay at all ! When we 1st arrived we had to wait approximately 40-45mins outside for some one to server us then we were told our booking online was not made ?? Then once that was delt with our room was cold and the fridge in the room didn't even keep the food we got chilled and the little freezer boxs had little ice build up but didn't freez we put 2 I blocks in there and they melted then as it states on the wall at reception 10am is check out we went to go check out at reception at 9.50am and no one was at reception there was to note on what to do with the room card we were very disappointed over all

Will never book here again as they will not honour the advertised price on this sight as they claim not to be listed here...funny they knew the driver was coming though..

Convenient for a nights sleep when heading south from Auckland if arriving in the evening. Relatively close to Auckland airport. Wifi is available in certain areas but not all rooms. Unfortunately not in our room but in a common room so it worked fine.

Unusual Greeting by manager but he was obliging. Rooms nice and big. Nice bathrooms but no hot water. Bed far too old.

Not Worth the Price

Emplacement : The immediate surroundings of the hotel are shabby. The rest of downtown is interesting.
Don't believe the infos about the Wifi. The hotel has no wifi connection for its clients. They tell you to come to the lobby and try to catch free wifi connections from the Public Library or the Main Street; that didn't work for me.

Most enjoyable. Room had all we required. We were at Hampton Downs each day and it was convenient for us to travel the short distance

Good basic motel, large bedroom and large bathroom. WiFi only by reception, rooms hard wired network but you need to take network cable - though this was not a problem for us. Secure parking. Huntly is a bit down on its luck, but the chip shop and Chinese were very good.
