Toilets sheets and towels were filthy . It was like they were never washed or cleaned for a while. Internet is spotty. Rooms were not cleaned daily.

First of all, there was no remote and noticed the shower was filthy. The night clerk was very apologetic and gave me a remote and a bottle of disinfectant/bleach! The overnight clerk was exceptionally polite and very helpful. The morning of our event, I returned the non working remote to the morning clerk who fed me nothing but lies. She took the remote and wen it did not work for her, she grabbed another remote from the cabinet and told me all the remote needed was a battery. Wow, I’m a few days shy of 66 and I know it was a totally different remote. I also told her about the uncleanliness of the shower. She stated it was paint overspray which is totally false. Overspray paint would not budge with a general cleanser. I informed of the fact I know paint from filth! I asked to speak to a manager and she told me each clerk was essentially the manager and there wasn’t an owner. During the late evening, she told me she was as refunding $15 for having to clean and disinfect the shower! Wow! When I returned to the hotel, a man was standing blocking the parking spot closest to the stairwell. After about 15 to 20 seconds , I tapped the horn and tacitly gestured I need to park. You think that would think a fully grown man would move. After another minute or more, he strolls away without even a gesture of apology! Later I see this same man in the office with the night clerk. I assumed. he was the “non existent” manager/owner. I am in stroke recovery! Room 210 was a hike for me!

Young man who checked me in was polite and professional. You could tell he was busy because it was family weekend for sam houston. Room, bed, bathroom was clean. AC worked well. Comforter had cigarette burn in it but bed was clean. Larger pillows would be nice. Clean up area by container, there is dog feces all over there. I would stay again for a short stay.

Well, as cliche as it sounds, I got what I paid for. It was literally just a bed and a bathroom. There wasn't a mini fridge, micromave or even a coffee pot. The front door leading out of the room was warped where it bent inwards enough on the top and bottom that you could see the outside sunshine. When I came back on Saturday night from visiting a friend, you could smell that someone was smoking marijuana. Also, the property looks nothing like the pictures on the website! They do have a pool but it is very, very tiny and the size of the property was less than half of what it looks on the website. To say the least, I will be doing more diligent research the next time I head for Huntsville!

Pool was nice, but difficult to get in to. Worker was not excited to help and was on a personal phone call. Lots of bugs at this property. We’ve stayed here before, but it did not have the bug problem before. Gross!

Don’t stay here!!

Room was gross. Had burns in the comforter like no one cleaned the room. Had food on the counter.
