Peaceful Home on the Lake

Although we needed just one more bed for our group, we still had comfortable sleeping on the couch. The morning sunset was beautiful. We also thank Mark for stopping by to check in on us, and to let us know if we needed anything. The binder in the house with all information about the home and the area was also very helpful. Thank you, we hope we can visit again.

Fall Break Getaway

This was such a beautiful place to enjoy fall break with our children. It is so quiet and the people you do see are friendly. The property itself is something you would dream of for vacation. It is a little far from everything so if you are looking for that then this is the place for you! We enjoyed every bit of what was offered. We will definitely book again in the future!

What a view!
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayPeaceful tree lined street. Opened the door to the cabin to be greeted by a fantastic view of the water. Boat launch nearby so we could dock the boat for the weekend. Spacious cabin, super clean, comfortable beds, had everything we needed for a wonderful stay from a washer/dryer, fire pit and grill. Enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch listening to the birds. Our host Mark greeted us upon arrival. Very communicative too. Would highly recommend this property. The only regret, we didn’t bring our fishing gear. Next time!

Rural Alabama get away
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis VRBO was wonderful! It was so clean, and i am super picky. It was one of the most, if not the most serene/peacful places i have ever stayed.
It's a little out of the wat, but that's the point. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially one who is looking for a restful, peaceful escape.
The only suggestion I would give, and this isnt to the Host, just grab whatever groceries you think you are going to want/need on the way. It's a bit of a drive to a grocery store if you check in first if you have had a long drive.
