La chambre n'était pas propre
La salle de bain l’etait encore moins, à mon arrivée j’ai dû demander des produits d’entretiens car impossible de prendre une première douche avec l’etat de la salle de bain.
Ceci étant, le personnel est très gentil, très accueillant et répondent assez vite (aux mails et lorsque nous avons des questions).

Thank you for your time to review your stay with us in one of our holiday rentals at Tiba Resort.
We are always very happy to receive constructive reviews as we can always become better and that is an aim that we have continuously, to become better to further increase the high-standard that you receive for a very low daily cost which includes a fully equipped kitchenette with kitchenware, electric hobs and microwave in addition to clean towels and linens.
In addition, we always clean each apartment thoroughly before each check-in and to assure a high standard, we always take a video after the cleaning and we did the same in your case taken only hours before check-in.
In fact, I am watching the video as I write this, as I have previously, and I would very much like to get in contact with you again to discuss the video actually showing the bathroom in particular.
We could then perhaps jointly go through what is shown on the video and the actual cleanliness of the bathroom which we hold in a very high regard.
We also want to respond to your statement about asking for cleaning products as you claim the apartment was not clean and the bathroom in particular.
I was personally in close contact with you pre-booking, during your stay and post-booking with responses within minutes after you send me any enquiry of any sorts.
After your check-in the first message that you sent on Dec 27, 2029, 4:16PM was ”lunch or dinner possible?” (in verbatim and in writing) which I responded to only 10 mins later.
The next contact was the same day with a message from you at 4:48PM which I responded to at 4:50PM regarding meals, etc.
At no point did you mention anything about the apartment being dirty nor asking us for any type of cleaning equipment which are in fact available by default in each apartment.
Again, we take these things very seriously and we would very much like to discuss the same with you and I will personally be involved in the discussion to ensure that we become even better if there actually should be a problem of any sorts.
We hope to be able to welcome you back to us again in the future and we will make sure that you are taken very well care of.

Decent Place to stay
Publié le 3 août 2022 sur HotelsIt's a very nice hotel and the staff are awesome. The only issue I had is it was about 25 minutes drive from Hardagha or the Marina and the pool was not clean as it should be.

Clean and comfortable apartments with kitchen and utensils to cook a meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fast responding. Good pricing. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay with this host in one of their apartments at Tiba Resort and this time in a different studio than the one that we stayed in during our last visit to Hurghada.
Now I booked a very nice apartment with a balcony on a high floor with a nice view of the pools at Tiba Resort and some balcony furniture so that we could sit outside and enjoy the evenings and mornings.
The apartment was (again) very clean and I could tell that there were some improvements done with new utensils, kitchenware, towels, linens, bedsheets, and the whole apartment was very recently repainted completely so it was super fresh and light.
The host was again very accommodating and very fast in responding and the local team at Tiba Resort was super helpful in every aspect. The host also showed us their third apartment which is on our roadmap to book for our next stay in Hurghada.
It was a very cozy studio with balcony and pool view. Thank you for making our stay just as memorable as our first one and we will certainly be back again the future.
Super recommended.

I have too say that I was a bit hesitant to book at Tiba Resort after reading a few somewhat negative reviews but I thought that the price of only €60 for three nights before visiting the pyramids was worth a shot.
I wonder if I was at the same place and apartment as described in some of the negative reviews because my personal experience with Tiba Resort is completely the opposite than described in some of the more negative reviews.
In short, It was a great and relaxing stay, really good value for money, and you get way more than you actually pay for considering the very low price.
Both the apartment and resort was very clean and so was the two big swimming pools located right outside of the apartment.
A kitchenette with kitchenware, cooking plates, utensils and microwave along with clean bedsheets, towels, linens and some complimentary fresh water in the fridge. A very nice touch.
The owner is extremely attentive and very fast in responding making several follow-ups and taking the time to give me some very nice recommendations which turned out too be very helpful.
A big thanks to the owner for his time.
The only drawback for some would perhaps be the location but you are well informed of the location before you book (Expedia map) and it’s an active choice to accept.
Getting to, and from, El Gouna or Hurghada with a cheap taxi only took minutes and was no hassle at all.
I am already planning my next stay here and will try a different apartment.

About Tiba Resort's location, we are are displaying the correct location on the Expedia map and Tiba Resort is also very well mapped out on Google Maps so, as you mention, it is an active choice to accept the location of Tiba Resort before booking.

Should the location have been in central Hurghada, with our current offered standard, the price should be much higher than what we offer our guests now.
It is also our true pleasure learning that you will be back with us in a very near future and your interest in perhaps staying in one of our other two additional apartments at Tiba Resort.

Arriviamo alle 00.30 e ci si presenta davanti una struttura totalmente rovinata, in pessime condizioni igieniche (il distributore d''acqua era letteralmente INCROSTATO) e piena di blatte.
Dopo 30 minuti di attesa mi dicono che non riescono a trovare la chiave della
stanza. Quindi chiedo di parlare con il Manager della Struttura, ma mi dicono che stava dormendo. Dopo circa due ore di attesa, mi dicono che le persone che hanno soggiornato nella stanza prima di me, hanno portato via
la chiave. A quel punto, dopo la mia insistenza, uno dei due ragazzi fa una telefonata e ci assegnano una stanza, grande un terzo di quella prenotata, sporca come solo Dio sa (era necessario dormire vestiti), senza carta igienica e con un paio di blatte come coinquiline.
Passiamo la notte sul letto VESTITI e la mattina presto vado all''ingresso per parlare con il Manager. Lui mi dice che non conosce nessuno con il nome da me indicato (la persona che mi ha scritto riguardo le modalità di check-in attraverso Expedia) e mi dice che loro non hanno nulla a che fare con la mia prenotazione. Tuttavia, n tarda mattinata mi viene data la stanza P4, quella da me prenotata. La stanza puzzava di muffa, il bagno di fogna e le lenzuola erano sporche. In piscina c''erano le alghe. LE ALGHE. Il bar al centro, vicino la piscina, era in realtà una sorta di polveroso deposito.
Abbiamo trovato un altro albergo ad Hurghada (Old Sheraton RD) dove siamo stati bene ma abbiamo speso altri 290 euro.
Terribile.

Hello,
To be quite frank, we have no clue who you are as we have only had two (2) completed bookings from Expedia since October, 2020 with one booking in October 2019 and the next booking in Jan, 2020 and this review is written in March 4, 2020.
Both of the clients we have had extensive contact with before, during and after their stay and they were both happy without any complaints.
We see most serious on the wrongful allegations that our very unit at Tiba Resort should be in the state that you claim.
We will also coordinate your claims with the security staff at Tiba Resort without delay.
The claim that you should have received a unit from someone only a third of the size of the original unit (our unit) is very strange as our unit as 38sqm and a third of that is approx. 13sqm and no such unit exists at Tiba Resort.
We always take a video before the very check-in and we will be happy to show any interested party these as well.
We pride ourselves offering a very affordable holiday rental at very low prices.
Again, we take things very seriously when it comest to standard and our units and a problem reported is always handled extremely fast but we really do not recognize ourselves, our the unit that we own, in your description at all but we will launch a full investigation immediately and you are welcome to contact us and we will see to it that all valid complaints will be handed swiftly.
We can mention that this very unit has received several bookings elsewhere with good reviews.

Cheap but comes with its drawbacks
Publié le 9 janv. 2020 sur HotelsWe chose the resort mainly because of the cheap price, which is at the same time its main benefit. The room itself is comfortable and alright for the price, however there are major drawbacks:
- The shower did not work (at least the shower head, which meant that we had to knee in order to get some water on our body)
- Using the sink in the kitchen meant water coming up from the drain in the bathroom and flooding it
- Don't expect to find anything in it (literally not even toilet paper, soup etc.)
- The building itself is in the middle of nowhere. While it is easy to order an uber to El Gouna or Hurghada (if he finds the building), it is an issue to find one back from El Gouna as Uber does not work there for trips outside and taxi drivers try to make business and demand far too much money.
- Internet did not work
- Room was not really clean
Consequently, if you want to save money and find a very very cheap deal, its ok but do not expect too much comfort.

We are very disappointed that you experienced that the cleanliness was not up to our usual standard and we ill certainly take that in-house with the cleaning crew which is an outside company which we will now change due to them not being up to our standard.
We always take a video before check-in and upon reviewing that video, we can see that they missed putting in the free water bottles and the toilet paper but were equipped with clean linens and towels and looked clean.
For that we truly apologize but you should have contacted us immediately as we had extensive contact with you throughout your stay.
As with any hotel, guests break things and we fix them fastest possible.
In this case, the shower head that was broken was not reported to us but would have been replaced immediately if it were reported to us but we have received no such reports from neither you nor previous guest.
But we are glad that we could accommodate your needs with an additional free nights stay so you did not have to move.
For the pipes, it is Egypt and the pipes are not EU standards so having several faucets running can cause minor problems if other people in the house also
For toiletries, such as soap although we provide washing liquid in the kitchen, etc, we don't provide that as that would be impossible to provide at these low rates that we offer and every individual have their own choice of soap and toiletries.
For the location, it is clearly market before you book where it is and, when booking, you accept that location which is of free choice and acceptance.
It suites some people while it does not suite others which we understand but the actual location is not something we can do something about and more central locations are much more expensive for a reason.
We hope that you give us another chance for your next visit and we will make sure that everything is up to our usual standard and I will personally oversee that everything is as perfect as can be at these low rates.

Jeg likte at det var billig. Jeg likte ikke dårlig renhold, uferdig og farlig el-arbeid. Usikret sikringskap. Lite og trasig rom uten natulig lys. Likte ikke at det var umulig å få pengene tilbake, når vi besluttet å forlate stedet etter 30 min. Likte ikke maur på rommet. Likte ikke søppel i og rundt hotellområdet. Likte ikke plasseringen av hotellet, og at det var umulig for resepsjonisten å bestille taxi.

First of all, all the money that you paid for this reservation has been donated to a charity in Hurghada, helping the poor with clothing and food.
We find it remarkable that you are giving a review for a place you did not even collect the key and checked in at.
We could have caved in and given you the money back, which you requested along with your very clear notification that you would give a very bad review if we did not, as you did not like the location.
It is something that we could have done, and avoided a very bad review from you, but we decided against it.
We truly love good reviews but we equally love honest bad reviews because that enables us to improve our offering and actual stay for our valued guests.
For clarity, we have extremely good reviews on other platforms and around the web.
It is a bit to walk into pizzeria, review the pizza as very bad, when you do not even like pizza to begin with.
When you book, you choose to accept the location and it is of free will that you book it.
A location that is well displayed pre-booking on Expedia, we sent out satellite images showing the exact location two (2) times and Tiba Resort is well represented on all major search engines as well.
We did respond to all your inquiries within minutes after sending them and gave you plenty of advise before arriving in Hurghada on where to go, what to do and what to think of.
The electricity box is on the wall and well cased and if you would feel the urge to open it, and tamper with it for whatever reason, we are pretty sure that it would constitute a hazard anywhere in the world.
We always take a video pre check-in and we did so in your case as well and it shows how clean everything as with any check-in so it is truly remarkable that you found it to be dirty which is, quite frankly, an insult when you did not even check-in and our team in Hurghada are extremely sad to hear such a claim.
Yes, there are no natural light in the apartment if you decide to cover the big windows leading out to the balcony with the curtains but that is a choice that you make yourself.
The staff at Tiba Resort are always helpful with ordering taxis for all its residents and they are hurt by your claim that they were of no assistance.
We are very sad to receive such a review from a person that did not even check-in but we are very happy that we were able to pass on the income to the poor people of Hurghada.

We hebben een lekker rustige vakantie gehad op tiba resort. Ze zijn flexibel met de tijden om in te checken en uit te checken. Verder hadden we de beschikking tot een eigen klein elektrisch gasfornuis en een koelkast. Tiba resort ligt handig gelegen om naar Hurghada en El Gouna te gaan, zeker met een uber die hier erg betaalbaar zijn. Overall prijs kwaliteit.
