The staff was friendly and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and dining options. The bed was comfortable.

I appreciate that the area is not going to have newer modern hotels but the room and towels smelt like smoke in a non smoking room. There were a number of flies stuck between the screen and the window pane. I realized why the towels smelt like smoke when I saw the housekeeping staff was sitting outside enjoying a smoke break. The front desk staff didn’t make eye contact and finished a personal call prior to helping me. The hotel is awkwardly layed out. The sheets were clean, the television had good options and the location worked for my visit.

We stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi, we didn't know before we got in that the Jacuzzi wasn't fully clean, and I have been horribly itchy ever since. And the sheets were very stiff and rough. But otherwise everything else was lovely.
