I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. With just leaving a comment not worth it doesn't tell us what we could have done better. Looking through our system you got the room during a busy event that was going on in town. So that was why the rate was high if that is what you were meaning not worth it. But again I'm sorry you didn't enjoy a clean and bug free room.

We're sorry to hear you weren't happy with your room but with you staying a total of 5 days with us and not saying a single thing about the room needing cleaned or it being dirty upon check in there isn't anything we could have done to fix your problem. Your room was cleaned top to bottom and carpet shampooed the night before so i do not see how it was dirty if that is what you are meaning by cleaning.

The room was not in good shape. The bedside light fixture did not function correctly, and the toilet did not flush well. The top of the comode needed to be removed to flush the toilet.

We are sorry to hear that you had them 2 issues. We forgot to inform you of the commode being hard to flush you just had to push down hard to get it to flush. The previous guests that stayed in the room broke the chain part and we have ordered a new one that did not arrive on time before your check in date and we are very sorry for that. The room light we did not know about that and we will look into that to fix. Wish you would have said something to us during your stay and we would have been happy to fix the light issue. Again thank you for giving us a chance and hopefully you will give us another chance in the future and you will be more satisfied.

The hotel was nothing like the photos. There was gaps under the main room door so any creepy crawlers could get in. The room images were not accurate. There was a comforter on the bed. It was not a covering that lends itself to “washing” which makes me wonder how often the comforter is washed. The towel bar in the bathroom was absent just the sides that would hold a bar. The shower faucet when I turned it on felt slimy. I was booked in for 2 nights but after the first sleepless night in a bed I felt like “taco filling” in I left and went to another hotel. I had to go back and look at the hotel pictures as I seriously wondered what I was thinking when I booked it… nope pictures are either decades old or not of this hotel! There was a beetle floating in the toilet when I arrived and the towels were messily hung and I honestly wondered if they were clean. I used bottle water to brush my teeth as it felt very unclean.

The hotel doesn't match the picture due to us just getting brand new bedding and just got the rooms repainted we have to get a professional to come out and take pictures which we haven't had time to do. Since we have this event going on in town for this week and have no opened rooms to have pictures taken. The weather seal I'm assuming is what you are speaking of in the room and we will take a look at it and replace it if it is a gap under the door. The bed spreads are brand new literally have only had for 2 weeks and they get washed every single day when a guest checks out which i personally can say that they do. If you want to stop back by the hotel i can even prove to you that they are only 2 weeks old. They are changed out after every guest if you have looked at the bedding you would have seen not a rip, tear ,or stain on them. The towel bar we know is broken which we have ordered a new one and it should be arriving in the next few days. The showers are cleaned every single day after a guest checks out so not sure what made you think it feels slimy. The pictures that are on the websites are when the hotel first opened. And the way the rooms look now we just finished last week with painting and getting the new bed spreads and mattresses. We were more concerned on getting that finished and getting the rooms back together and cleaned first to have done by this big event that's going on this week then getting pictures updated at the moment. Not sure about a Beatle in the toilet because that room just got done being cleaned the day you checked in. But if you have made any of these concerns known to the front desk they would have been happy to have tried to fix the issues you are speaking of. Towels are hung how we have always hung towels folded down the side and hung on a bar and the floor mat folded draped over the tub with a bar of soap on it. So not sure how else you expect to hang towels. But again I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay but it is impossible to make someone happy or to even try to fix a issue without telling us of a problem while your here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We may not be a luxury hotel but for the price point you got a room that has freshly been repainted has a new mattress new bedspread and a new shower head plus it was clean.

Upon entering the room, it looked acceptable. Considering we had just driven past two obvious residents. As they had the furniture pulled outside. Then near where we parked, there was an abandoned pickup with a mattress in it. Upon further examination, we found there was no toilet paper. So my wife goes to the desk and gets some. Then we found no shower curtain. So no showers for us. When the owner, whom stated she was such, was confronted, paper was given. We waited until the next morning to mention the shower curtain. There was one visible outlet, no phone, no places to plug electronics. The only reason we even slept there is due to the fact there was an event in town and everyone was booked up. We had booked this room over a month before. The owner claimed she couldn’t refund me because of a shower curtain that she could give me a curtain and I could go back, after I had checked out, and take a shower. This room should have been ready and fully usable well before we arrived. But she claimed she and her husband had just spent a year “fixing” the place up. Really? Don’t bite off more than you can chew. We won’t return, to Knights Inn nor Hurricane Mills, anytime soon. Believe me.

Your only leaving this review due to the fact you wanted a full refund over a shower curtain. You checked into the hotel at 4pm and checked out at 6:30am. You came up to the office a hour later saying there isn't any toilet paper which I apologized for and gave you 2 rolls. In your review you claimed you noticed the shower curtain after you noticed the toilet paper which you had plenty of time to inform the staff about so they could have gave you one or even brought you one. People make mistakes and forget things time from time and we did apologize for that. I do know the other hotels in the area had vacancy due to the fact we received several quests from the surrounding hotels checking out from there establishment and coming to stay at ours. The mattress your speaking of is one we just replaced and have to take it to the dump which we just haven't had the time due to the events nonstop in the area. The furniture your claiming is actually chairs and a side table that some guest brought out so they could eat and smoke without smoking inside a nonsmoking room. The room doesn't have a phone due to we are tired of having to pay 30 to replace a phone every single day due to guests breaking them or messing up the cords. That is money that we could use to finish renovating the place a phone isn't a big deal due to most people use there cell phones nowadays but we are sorry that was a inconvenience for you. The outlets we aren't going to have noticeable due to the side tables blocking them there are several outlets throughout the room to plug electronics into. Your rude remark "don't bite off more than you can chew" is very uncalled for. We explained to your wife when she came up this morning wanting a refund due to the fact she couldn't shower because of no curtain which I asked her if that was the only issue and she said yes because it was a inconvenience for her. I then explained I won't refund due to the fact a curtain was missing especially when you had plenty of time to have mentioned it by simply coming to the office or by calling the hotel I even said I would be happy to give you one and you could go back to shower. I claimed we have been working on the place for a year and that it isn't finished yet. Its hard to find people to work at a hospitality place nowadays and until you worked at a hotel then you would understand the difficult and struggle it is to keep things in good condition. But we are sorry that you didn't enjoy a cheap, clean, and bug free room due to a few things that was forgotten (toilet paper, shower curtain) which was very easy to have been fixed.

For the price point you cant really complain. The room is a little outdated but if you have read previous reviews you would have read that we are working on remodeling. So with the room your in is one we haven't made it to yet. You are staying with us for a week and we have gave a discount for your stay due to the condition of the room looking a little outdated when we don't have to we could charge you normal price but we try to be nice and reasonable. We appreciate the feedback and we are already working on it.
