Owners friendly and welcoming and very hospitable and communicative. Good location for hiking and enjoying the North Umpqua region. Old prophet has been back to life. Bed very comfortable, good a/c. Restaurants nearby in Glide.

Great hosts and caretakers. Well cared for rustic lodge close to the river and nearby fishing. Friday night music, food and bar were a plus.

When I spoke with the owner she said we would have the house all to ourselves. It may have been a house at one time but it was actually a building with a hallway down the center and rooms on each side. It was very clean. From our conversation I expected a house and packed accordingly. There was a microwave but no dishes, no utensils, etc. Luckily there was a place across the street to purchase picnic supplies. A bit too rustic for our taste.

Publié le 8 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe lodge owner JoAnne came to meet us as we pulled up in our truck. She gave a quick tour of the facility and our room. Very welcoming of our small dog, Bill. Invited us to a potluck on site that evening. There was an awesome musical trio of JoAnne’s friends. They played folk and rock tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s until about 9 pm. Very cool! Room and our restroom very clean. Bed very comfy. Best of all a fresh loaf of banana bread awaited us in our room. Very cool!
