Poorly managed

Alice and the rest of the staff were amazing . The place is full of holes in the walls and not kept very clean in rooms . Sheets not changed for 8 days . The advertise complimentary water then when you check out bill you for it . Alice is the best and she is world class . Mums Resort deserves 0 stars .

Held at gun point

The staff was awesome, but because of the manager being arrogant and not knowing how to retrieve payment from virtal credit card. He held us hostage by gun point and would not allow us to leave the hotel for 3 hours until investigator came in told the guard and staff to release us or he would be put in jail. I will NEVER return to this site.

The property claimed that they did not use Expedia services and insisted that we pay again using cash. The place was very run down. They showed us a room. It had carpet. It smelled horrible. Showed us a second room and someone had just checked out of it. Ended up leaving and not staying.

I liked absolutely nothing! I’ve stayed here several times before and it has really gone downhill. I also did not like the fact that they refused to accept that I had paid for my stay when I booked with Expedia. They made me pay again and said that they did not honor Expedia reservations nor did they even have an account with Expedia. I later found out from my local host that this hotel has done this same thing to other people. This hotel deliberately tried to cheat me! Expedia should remove their account. DO NOT STAY HERE!
