Perfect seclusion for an intimate and relaxing setting

Heaven on earth
Posted Oct. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayWhat a wonderful slice of life on the farm which we all enjoyed! The animals are quiet at night but happy to say hello and/or be fed some apples during the day. It is perfect for 5-9 adults, 14 adults may be too many because there is only one bathroom on the 2nd floor (accessible thru one of the bedrooms. The sunrise and night sky were gorgeous from the upper patio. Your group will love life in this renovated 1700s farmhouse full of patios, porches, fireplaces and firepits!

We're glad you had a great time and this is exactly what we would like to hear about the property. It really is a special place and we have tried hard to make it unique and comfortable for larger groups, despite some of the challenges of early 1700's construction.

A wonderful Farmhouse with lots of character
Posted Oct. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayA very unique house which was great for a small group. Lots of farm animals around which added to the experience. If we ever need to rent a place again in or around Frederick, we'll definitely be looking at this house. Highly recommend.

Fun Farm Time
Posted Jun. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayOur experience was wonderful. Our son got married and the location was perfect for us. The house is stunning, the land and farm animals were bonus. Jeff was a wonderful host. We spent most of our time on the back screen porch- it was so restful and peaceful. We will be back, when we don't have a wedding to attend to! My 14 year old daughter was off of her phone and out with the animals the entire time! Thank you, Jeff!

Family reunion

Private Farmhouse
Posted Dec. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a family reunion/ thanksgiving/ and celebration of a 90 th birthday at the farm. We loved the property. It was very kid friendly we had toddlers ages 2-4 that especially loved helping feed the goats and hanging out in the playroom. For the adults we enjoyed the calm laid back atmosphere. We would definitely book again

A magical place
Posted Jun. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayFantastic location -- nothing soothes the soul like waking up every morning and feeding goats and horses, or petting Precious the Cat. If you're looking to spend a weekend in Frederick with friends, this is the place to be.
