"A great locatio. With amazing sea views with lots of wild life inc a seal who peeked out regularly, we could even watch from our bed. The room waa smal but adequate, the floors creaked a lot. Beautiful food in the restaurant could have been a bit hotter but still tasted great. Over all still a 10 out of ten will revisit soon."

"The stay from start to finish was faultless. The room was beautifully decorated, with a good choice of hot drinks. The bed was massive and super comfy. It was the staff that really made this stay so good. They were all very friendly and accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. They go out their way to make sure everything just perfect. "I had two nights at the Great Western. Wonderful views of the surrounding Harbourside. I could see various boats coming and going. Quite scenic. The bar also has a great view of the water. It’s a 2 min walk to the centre of Oban. Nice pubs, shops and cafes in town too. My room was comfortable, good hot water pressure and it was quiet at night. 👍"
