Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayDas Appartement hat eine gute Lage direkt am Hafen. Parken ist auch möglich, man muss tagsüber bezahlen. Die Beschreibung zu allem ist sehr gut von der Vermieterin. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, WiFi problemlos. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir dort in der Nähe sind. A. Stahl

Everything we needed. Spent 2 days with family before going on to London. Loved exploring the town. Only wish parking was easier, but not anyone’s fault. All in all would recommend this location to anyone looking for the perfect place for a few days vacation in Ilfracombe.

Noise disturbance & stairs
Publié le 25 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe apartment is two floors above a restaurant. Late evening lots of noise from clattering plates, staff whistling, calling to one another in kitchen. Its right under the bedroom with its single glazed window. After midnight the Weatherspoons just across the way closes. Big fight o e night.
Door to apartment has coded handle. Anyone who knows code could come in as no lock or bolt on inside of door.
Nice view obscured by dirty windows. TV remote not working.
Kitchen ok. Small dishwasher useful. Tap loose. Super squeaky metal bedstead.
Situated in very tired mansion block. Would not return

Hi Amanda,
I am really sorry that you had some issues with your stay at our apartment. I have never had a review like this before and wish you had contacted us at the time to put things right. We could have put batteries in the remote and looked at the squeaky bed straight away. The windows are cleaned regularly but unfortunately there are a lot of seagulls around, but we would have cleaned them again, if we'd known.
I am sorry there was noise from the restaurant .We have never heard them while we were there but I will speak to the owner and find out what happened during your stay. I am saddened to hear there was a fight in the street during your stay. This has never occurred before, as far as I am aware but unfortunately there isn't a lot I can do when something like this happens outside.
Lastly, and probably most importantly, our key codes are changed regularly, so nobody can just walk into the apartment or block.
