Disappointing, poor maintenance and communication
Our experience at this property was frustrating from the start. Upon check-in, the balcony door was left open, leaving the unit freezing cold. To make matters worse, only half the heaters on the second floor worked because the thermostat wasn’t installed. Instead, it was left in a box in a kitchen drawer, with a hole and exposed wires where it should have been.Despite asking for assistance, I had to insist on receiving space heaters, which were brought over nearly five hours later along with a plunger to address a clogged toilet which we discovered also upon checkin. The first floor also smelled unpleasant, and the property didn’t have basic items like a plunger on-site.When I asked if we could use the fireplace for warmth, I was initially told it wasn’t an amenity for the property. The following day, we were told it should provide secondary heat, but it was turned off, and using it would have required removing a large glass panel—clearly not a practical solution and to expect guests to set up themselves.Other issues included half the light bulbs being out in the bathrooms and bedrooms, making the space feel even less welcoming.Overall, the lack of maintenance and poor communication from the property management team and owner made for a disappointing and uncomfortable stay. I cannot recommend this property in its current condition.
