This is the 3rd time I've stayed here. Each time I've visited Martiansville, I prefer the Holiday Inn. It's clean, quiet and comfortable. I love the breakfast! And the room rates are highly competitive.

Great hotel, however due to the location it is off of a major highway that you have to take 2-3 roundabouts to get to. In order to get to downtown restaurants or bars, you have to go back around the roundabouts and underneath the highway again to get to it all. All in all about 10 minute drive. New construction right in front of the hotel as well.

Disappointed that pool was still not open

We always strive to provide the best service to our guests and on this occasion, we did not exceed your basic expectation. I hope you can forgive this inconvenience from this one occasion and not let it stop you from staying with another Holiday Inn Express in the future. Again, we are sincerely sorry to hear that this negative experience with the pool not being open disrupted your stay. We are working diligently to get it open by the end of next month. we had to wait several times through out our 1 night stay for the front desk person to assist us with checking in and fixing the shades in our room. my husband had to fix the shades so they would close because they would not work with the remote. the pool was not available and without anything to do in the area, we had to just sit in our room. the room was okay, but the bed was way too soft. the breakfast and morning staff were wonderful

We actually never made it due to my son being DX'd with Covid. When I called the hotel, they said I needed to contacted Expedia. Expedia didnt reponsed for 3 days and then the manager denied the refund.
Next time I will just show up with a COVID person, see how management feels about that. Will not be booking there again
