Nice property but sketchy neighborhood

VERY Misleading Listing
Publié le 1 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was nowhere near the condition it was presented to be in the pictures.The walls were scuffed and dinged, toilet paper rolls and other fixtures were falling off the walls, couch cushions and rugs were stained and dirty. It was an overall just kind of gross and rundown rental. The outdoor deck was covered in rusty nails and my 11 year old picked up at least 10 of them. The backyard was covered in weeds and overgrowth. The outdoor chairs were wobbly and almost too shaky to sit in.The description of the location as "newly gentrified" was quite overly generious and we didn't feel super safe. This is a remote, industrial location and two pizza places wouldn't deliver to us, even when we offered a $20 tip.I absolutely would not reccomend this listing and would never stay here again.

Great outdoor area - lots of fun!
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOutdoor area was fantastic to entertain our group after running a half marathon. Some sat in the hottub, some played games and watched football …. all had fun!! We really didn’t spend much time inside except to sleep, but accommodations were nice and clean. Host was prompt to respond to all my questions. Only concern was the limited parking, but we were able to find spots at the end of the street for extra cars!!

Good but not great.
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayFound the property pretty easily. Parking was tight and odd with vehicles parked in both directions on same side of street. Obviously not the owners fault. Code lock was scratched up and hard to read the numbers when the sun was shining. Once inside the place looked nice. Layout was good and as advertised. The back patio area was disappointing at first glance. Weeds growing out of control, broken pieces of yard games, patio heater cover laying on the stones, stones all over the sidewalk, etc. A real turnoff and not a good look when you pay the money. Made us feel like we didn't want to touch any of it. We did not make use of the garage located in the back to park our car. we wanted to but could not find a garage door remote and it was impractical to walk around the block to go through the house...to hit the button inside for the garage door opener. So we just continued to park on the street out front. On the inside we found that one toilet paper roll holder was broken and barely hanging on the wall. Usable but we were careful not to knock it off the wall. The most undesirable discovery was a condom wrapper that fell to the floor when a couch pillow was moved. Not something you want to find and try to feel like the place was cleaned. I'm not trying to bash the place as it "worked" for our needs. I just hope this review is helpful and constructive for improvments.

Great experience

We loved all the space and the rooms were spacious and so so clean. The hot tub was our favorite feature. It was drizzling rain but we didn’t care, the hot tub felt great and it was so relaxing.
Would 100% stay again.

Publié le 18 août 2022 sur HomeAwayVery clean, beautiful on the inside where we bel decorated the backyard was awesome. There’s bags, ladders, hot tub works great, fireplace, grill, coffee. Bring your own salt lol. The toilet paper wasn’t motel quality. I was able to cook a bunch with the pots and pans they had. Owner is very responsive and accommodating

Relaxing Indianapolis Stay
Publié le 3 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property was new and had all the essentials. The kids loved the arcade, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace and tv. Would definitely stay again if we travel back that way.
