Great condo in handy location

Walking distance to many restaurants and the lake...we had a great time there! Potential renters should know that there is quite a bit of road noise as it's at the main intersection in Cicero, so ear plugs are a benefit.

Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayIt would have been easier to get in if we had more details on how to find the key pad before we arrived. The door was also broken. There is a lot of street noise. So much that it is hard to get much sleep

I'm sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We strive to provide clear instructions for accessing the property, and it's unusual for guests to have difficulty finding the keypad. As for the door, cosmetic damage did occur during a recent stay and there was no time to repair, but it was not broken in that it still is a functional door. Regarding the street noise, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve the experience for future guests.

Publié le 2 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe apartment was clean, well decorated and larger than I expected. The rooms were large, and it had all the amenities. The it was right in the heart of the downtown area. There were restaurants and a coffee shop were right down the street. I would stay again.

Great Location in Cicero

What I liked most was the downtown, convenient location of the apartment. To this I would add, I liked the kitchen area and adjacent sitting area - very nice and great size for a small happy hour gathering with family. The one bathroom facility worked for me so others need to consider to what extent it will work for them. I would have given more 5 star ratings rather than 4s but for a few minor items easily improvable that I will call to the attention of the owner.

We loved the open concept of the renovated space, which is an apartment on the backside and above a commercial building off Peru and Jackson Street. The decor' was comfortable and had a fresh craftsman / Crate & Barrel style! Pet Friendly as well! Kristen, the Hostess, was amazing to work with. She was gracious in every way leaving a lovely bottle of Red Wine, snacks, and a refrigerator stocked with some basics to get us started. Be sure to visit 10 West for Dinner, which is just across the street and catch the sunset at The Boathouse, just an 8-minute walk down Jackson Street! If you have room for dessert, Alexander's makes an amazing homemade ice cream shake that is to die for! Absolutely love Cicero and loved this accommodation! Hope to be back again very soon!
