Lovely holiday cottage
Publié le 18 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayQuaint little cottage on beautiful property, with shared pool and right across road from Guadalupe River. Loved the wallpapers and carved wooden furniture. Was great to have a comfy holiday home where our dog was welcome. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with lovely view of nature, or down in the dry creek, before the heat of the day got to us. Check-in was very simple, and we lacked nothing during the stay.

Needs updating badly

When we finally found a number to call, the key pad didn’t work and they had to give us an alternative code. The front porch was super dirty as were the chairs. The fold out couch inside was old and the work out so the springs on it were uncomfortable to sleep on. The comforter on the main bed looked like it hadn’t been washed and it had dried on food still on it.

Place was cute but dirty
Publié le 23 oct. 2020 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was cute, quirky, older which I like! But it was dirty :/ especially underneath the sofa bed - dead cockroaches and dust bunnies. Countertop appliances (blender/coffeemaker) had an oily film and we cleaned the coffee maker as best as we could to use it. Check in process was super easy. The screen porch was great. I want to love this place but it just needs a good deep cleaning first and a comfier sofa bed. The couch looks old, which again I don’t mind, but the mattress is not comfortable. My parents slept on the bed and they said it was comfy.
