Accommodation

Pour : Location to amenities and brilliant scenery
Contre : Ensure accommodation is reserved and keys for entry are available on arrival.
Emplacement : Try the station pub for something to eat, they do a really good burger and some fine ales. The balcony overlooks the lake with great views.
On the plus side the accommodation is situated next to lake windermere and the mountains so glorious scenery guaranteed. Invermere is a friendly town with lots of shopping available. My main disappointment was the failure of communications between myself and the property owner to ensure accommodation was available on our arrival. The instructions on the booking confirmation was to contact the owner 24hrs before arrival however on doing so I was only able to contact an answering machine. On arrival we could of been left in the street if it was not for the intervention of the janitor and a relative to gain entry to the accommodation - this is not an experience you want after 17 hours of travelling.

Terrible Management Company

Pour : The suite was fine but was not what I booked.
Contre : Very disappointed on how treated. Expedia should review this company and not allow them on their site if this is how they treat customers.
Emplacement : Fine.
Booked 2 bedroom condo with lake view. Credit card charged more then website said. Didn't get anything to verify the amount that was charged. I thought I would deal with the company upon our arrival but there was no one to greet us or get keys. Management company is very hard to get a hold of. When we finally did we were given our room number and the code to get in. An hour away from our arrival get a call to tell us that we need to move to another suite. The suite we were moved to had a parking lot view (not what I paid for). I asked why we were not getting the suite that we booked and she said she still had someone in it. She also told me she would discount our bill since we were put in a unit that would cost less. I asked if we could move the next day to it and she said yes and that they would help us since it was their mistake. The next day I tried calling and texting number that called/texted me. I was never responded to again. Since then I have texted them a few times to get our discount and our security deposit back. Again no answer and no refund. One month later and still no refund.

There is nowhere to check in, quite confusing and there were extra fees that were $160 above and beyond what we were quoted from hotels.com. Nice place but not worth the hassles

Great property, terrible customer service

Pour : Spacious, well supplied and comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the lake and valley.
Contre : Customer service! They need to get their act together and be prepared for their arrivals.
Emplacement : In Inverness and about a 20 minute drive in either direction of Fairmont and Radium hotsprings. Located neside an A&W and near a Sobeys grocery store.
I rented a 3 bedroom condo in this property for a Christmas family gathering. It was months before I got an email from the property management but did have security about the booking by booking with Expedia. We were driving from different areas, with most of us driving through snowstorms and no cell service areas there. I called 4 hours prior to check in time to get check in information, as there is no front desk. It was difficult to get someone to answer the phone and though they were polite, were very disorganised. It wasn't until over 6 hours after my original phone call that we got proper door codes to get in! Everyone was freezing waiting at the front door and then back and forth to vehicles for HOURS while the ONE disorganized staff member took long periods to get a hold of after giving wrong code after wrong code. Very stressful. Once we were finally in with a temporary code the property was lovely.

Guaranteed booking not honored

Good quality units but horrible customer service

Customer service is brutal. Nobody ever answers the phone, and responses to voicemails or text messages is sporadic at best. Completely disorganized check-in process. Initial unit wasn't ready. Second unit was clean, but cable and internet was non-functioning the entire stay, despite multiple promises it would be fixed promptly. Key to pool room was also missing. If you luck into a good unit that doesn't require any extra assistance, then it's a very good deal. If you need any kind of customer service, you're in trouble.

Emplacement : Great location,good for walking and close to panorama ski resort
Really bad communication with the office rental,no cable channels in the room,over charge for cleaning fee,no response for emails

Cozy little stay

Emplacement : Beautiful area, great shopping market, hot springs, family owned restuarants, bar/club, rope swing, hiking, house of a thousand faces, funtasia
At first I found it hard to find which block I was in and got lost. I also did not have the number to get through the main gate and my room number was not plainly available in my email either. It took a good twenty minutes just to get in.At first when I arrived needless to say i was dissapointed in the first room I got as it had not been cleaned and was still a mess from the previous people. I immediatley contacted a lady that was provided to me through email and told her what was happening she apologized and put me in a better room on a different level. Once I was in the new room I was pleasantly happy. It was clean and had a great view of the mountains in every room. There was a book that explained all the rules, any questions I had and anything that I needed to know about Invemere, Radium and Fairmount. The beds were extremly comfy and the place was warm. There was four of us there and none of us had anything to complain about. No one bothered us on our stay, everyone kept to themselves. So overall my experience was great except for the mix ups when I got there.

Good stay but very disappointed w/property manage

The property overall is family friendly. We have 5 families with 2 apartments booked. The rooms are very comfy and lots of spaces for kids to play and stay. The property management is very disappointing and I was in the know by reviewing the past reviews. Prior to our checking date, I started to contact them to get checkin info. Every time I was told that the email was in the queue to send out, but until now I never got one email from the company. On our first night, one of our apartment ran out of toilet papers and I contacted the management company again. Waited for quite a while and didn't get any. Ended it up, we had to go to fitness room to get one. And now I am still waiting for my bill to be splitted as they have charged me with one transaction without any details on each room charge. After numerous calls, I am at the point that I am super frustrated and give up with the ask.
