Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Croft House. It was quiet, loved the fires and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were very spacious and the location was only a 10-15 min drive to Inverness. Perfect for what we wanted. A lovely little house.

Lovely but tough drive
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is great, full of charm, fully stocked with anything you might need. Be warned however, the driveway is long, unpaved, and very bumpy. I would not drive it again unless it was in a 4WD vehicle.

Highland Retreat
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayRelaxing stay with exceptional views of Loch Ness. Comfortable beds and the fireplaces were a treat. Home from home. Drive way is steep and on an unmade road so may not be suitable for low profile cars. Attentive host and good facilities.

Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely LOVELY stay with our family. The location is perfection as it’s quiet and calm - but close enough to pop into Inverness for a meal. Cabin was cozy and perfectly appointed. Barry - and the pups - were so welcoming, some of the kindest hosts we’ve ever had.
Coffee in the mornings overlooking Loch Ness was an absolute dream. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous little spot with us!!

Amazing views!

Barry welcomed us upon our arrival and was fantastic at communicating prior. My son loved being able to look out over Loch Ness and watch for Nessie. I just wish we'd had a chance to meet the dogs! Was in a great location, nice and quiet, yet close enough to Inverness. We hope to return again.

Beautiful & Cozy

Cozy home and million dollar views!
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a pleasant stay we had at Lairgmore Croft House! We were welcomed by Barry upon our arrival and immediately felt at home in the well-appointed cozy house. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout. The kids enjoyed the home very much, especially the Scooby Doo and the Loch Ness monster and Highlands wildlife DVDs. We spent as much time as possible in the side yard with beautiful views of Loch Ness and the blooming flowers. What a great way to have breakfast and coffee in the mornings! The location is great and the home was just what we needed to relax and unwind by the fireplace after days of exploring the Highlands. Thank you Barry!

Charming, Beautiful Property with Fantastic Host
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis would be a 6 star review if that were possible. Barry, the host, was extremely communicative and helpful leading up to our stay. The directions to access the property, which is remote and off the roadway, were very good. The property itself is gorgeous. It was clean, well stocked/supplied, and just as advertised. The instructions for everything were clear and easy to find. Waking up and going to bed with gorgeous views of Loch Ness, sitting by the fire or in the window, or sitting outside on the bench or chairs - there are worse ways to pass the time! I would absolutely stay again and cannot recommend Barry and his beautiful house more.
