Enjoyable overnight stay while visiting Sutton Hoo. Lovely open room with great views. Excellent breakfast and friendly and knowledgeable hosts.

Away for work
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HotelsI was staying in the ground floor room, which was very spacious as was the ensuite shower room. Nice touch of fresh milk in fridge. Wifi was okay. Got advice as to where to go for evening meal which was good. Great cooked breakfast. Lovely hosts.

The annexe was clean and bright.
It was very cold in the room at night.
There was a damp smell, which we found off putting.
However the owners were very helpful and cooperative when we asked for an earlier check in, and were a very nice couple. Grounds are beautiful and very picturesque.

Hi, I am so sorry you had issues with the room. The radiators were operable within the room, but I apologise for not telling you this. I can't make out what the smell was, I only surmise it could have been the drain in the shower, maybe it was dry ? Anyway I am sorry that these issues spoilt your stay with us, but is was good to meet you both.

We realy enjoyed our stay at Hillbrow farm. The location is lovely. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
