Absolutely amazing!
What a lovely home! Everything is so nice and very well thought out. Very charming! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this home again next year! Plenty of room for the whole family. My husband and I can’t wait to bring our children up for a visit. Very short walk to the beach or to town. This property has everything you’ll need for a wonderful stay!

House was the perfect size for our needs. We had 2 families, a family of 1adult with 1child and family of 2adults with 2children. The house was very clean and had everything needed for the stay, minus food of course. The ping pong table was a nice bonus for the kids. Took 1 star off because the tub upstairs was leaking from the drain pipe. We let the owner know right away. She responded right away. We opted to not use that one and use the other 2 showers for the rest of the stay which was doable. Bathroom was usable just not the shower/ tub. Location was great also. You did feel safe and the beach, shops, and restaurants were right down the street. We would definitely stay there again.

Great house in safe neighborhood
This house was amazing. Basement even had full extra living room and ping pong table with ball and paddles! Great neighborhood. We walked to Syl's restaurant, the coffee shop, and to the beach. All just a 5 or 10 minute walk. Great stay for visiting the Porcupine Mountains. Would recommend.

Weekend Get Away
I was very pleased with the cleanliness of house. Everything was well kept. The upkeep and cleanliness made the home feel welcoming. I also enjoyed sleeping in a king size bed, many places do not offer king size beds. We wanted to do rock hunting and there were beaches close enough to offer that. Syl's restaurant has amazing food and was just blocks away and Connie's offers great coffee and lattes. I love old houses that are kept up and this is one of them. From the crown molding, to the oversized trim, wood floors, and the staircase railings were all in wonderful well kept condition which I enjoyed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

Great spot in Ontonagon
I stayed with my partner and his family and we really enjoyed our time in Ontonagon. The house is lovely and in a great location. I would recommend and stay again. Our host looked after us and made sure we had everything needed to enjoy our stay.

It is a cute, clean house, close to where I was working. I have a problem with Evolve assessing an insurance damage fee as line-item cost on the bill. By the time I saw it, I had already submitted my request and would face a penalty for cancelling. I will not be using a VRBO with this company again.

Great location and nice home
Very clean and newer updates to an older home. Very short walk to the beach which was so beautiful. We didn’t pack a pack and play for our 2 year old, and although there was one at the property, it was a small one and she didn’t fit in that one comfortably. Would stay here again. There were 5 adults and 1 child in our party and the house fit all of us comfortably. There were 2 beach chairs and a small cooler which was nice to have for the beach. Also, the owners had a bad Minton set which we enjoyed. Thanks again for a great stay.

Quiet Neighborhood and Great Base location
We spent 3 nights at this location, using this Ontonagon home as our base for having our U.P. adventures. The neighborhood is quiet, the town is quiet which for us coming from a big city was a welcome relief. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Our intentions were to use the home to accomadate our food allergy son, and we found the kitchen was slightly lacking for what we needed it to be so while I can't call it perfect, the host was welcoming in communication before check in and at check out and it's location was perfect for our day trips hiking in the Porcupine Mountains and along Copper Harbor's beaches so it made up for it.

Awesome
Really nice big place. Rooms for all of us and we even had an extra room we didn't use. Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Kids loved the basement amenities which gave us adults privacy upstairs. Blocks from Lake Superior and the main road through downtown, you can walk to both. A new one for us (3rd time in Ontonagon) a guy in a dogsled was sledding around through the city streets, awesome. I really was a little depressed when I had to leave.

Ontonagon VRBO Review
Very clean, well-appointed, and cozy (yet more than sufficiently spacious). Quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located to local businesses and all outdoor activities the western Upper Peninsula has to offer. Elizabeth sets the standard for VRBO hosts. Throw in the ultra-reasonable rates and I don't see much, if any, reason to consider alternate lodging.

Great UP getaway!
Great house in a location that worked well for us. We visited the Porcupine Mts and Keweenaw Peninsula. It was just my husband and I but there ate 4 bedrooms so definitely room if you brought your family. We were there very little as we spent most of our time exploring but appreciated the comfortable bed to come back to.

Home with Character & Location
Our family (including 2 tweens) loved this home! It has the charm of an older home (e.g., antique doors, claw foot tub), but has been rehabbed so that appliances, baths, etc. are modern and comfortable. We spent much of our time playing table tennis downstairs :). The home is an easy walk to Lake Superior. We are from AL, so the UP and Ontonagon were treats for us! We enjoyed a pasty from Syl's and I think we went to Sip & Snack for ice cream every day that we were in Ontonagon (even on chilly days). We spent a day visiting the Lighthouse and the Porkies --- it's easy to access both from this home. The owner was so thoughtful to leave us plenty of towels, blankets, and all of the extras that made our stay feel like home. We even played badminton in the backyard. The next time we visit the UP, we hope to stay here!

Great location near the Porkies
We chose Ontonagon for its location to the Porcupine Mountains, 13 miles from the State Park. Staying at this house was fantastic. It was charming - just as advertised; clean, roomy, well-decorated and a cozy screened-in front porch. The host reached out to us the day before to welcome us and made herself available if we needed anything, very gracious. The day before check-out we caught wind of Open Mic Night (Thursday nights) at the Eagles Club in downtown - we just had to check out some small town entertainment before we wrapped up our vacation. We were welcomed into the fold of this community with ease and got to listen to (and dance) a great variety of music. It was a great way to wrap up an amazing week in the UP.

Great Base Location
This is a great rehab with an easy comfort. We walked to the downtown restaurants, hiked the Porkies and came home to rest before walking to the beach to see the sunsets. Great location! Also loved the 3-season porch for morning coffee and evening wine.

This charming home made it easy to feel welcome. Was beautifully decorated and perfectly stocked with just enough need for the stay. Both in walking distance to town, beach and playground. Would 100% recommend anyone to stay here during the summer.

beautiful home, all you need and so close to the beach
This house was all I could have hoped for and then some. There is plenty of room for your own space, the beds were comfy, bathrooms super nice and the kitchen.... We cooked in the well equipped kitchen for breakfast and dinner and packed our lunches. We were so grateful to be able to use the washer and dryer. The beach is so close we walked over every night for a swim and to watch sunset. The location was a perfect central spot to go west to visit Porcupine wilderness parks, waterfalls like Presque Isle River and Lake of the clouds, the Ski jump, and to go N east to visit Calumet, the copper mine all the way up to Keewenaw.
