Hotel bed had a stain on the comforter. The bathroom tub had hair in it that wasn’t mine.

NOISY WITH INDIFFERENT MANAGEMENT

I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room at the end of the hallway on the top floor - at 2 AM an EXTREMELY LOUD compressor which pressurizes the fire sprinkler system came on in the emergency staircase next to the room - I called the front desk to ask what was going on and how long it would continue, they said it happens all the time and they can't control what time of day or night this compressor that sounds like a jackhammer goes off, and that I should speak to the woman at the front desk the next morning - I spoke to her, she couldn't offer me any sort of credit for being woken up in the middle of the night (I was up for two hours) and gave me a number to call - I called Holiday Inn and filed a complaint, they said the manager would get back to me but they never did - this is very clearly a known issue and while I told them it would be easy to put a timer on the compressor so that they weren't waking up hotel patrons (even showed them where the timer would be installed in the system, see photos) they obviously don't care and are not going to call me back - the hotel was really not that great anyways, East Pittsburgh near the highway but this was really the icing on the cake so I would recommend looking anywhere else - Holiday Inn express is usually fairly reliable but apparently not this one - STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

OUR FIRE SYSTEM IS WORKING PROPERLY AND AS IT SHOULD. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE BUT IT PUMPS PERIODICALLY TO BUILD PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
