Key Lime
Posted Jun. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayI had an excellent stay at Key Lime, The hosts Jo and Tony were great and very knowledgeable about the building and the island.
It has superb views from the terrace and the chilled pool is a god send as it was very hot, it’s also very private and secluded. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great property with 1 exception.
Posted May 21, 2024 on HomeAwayThe only negative is the master bedroom only has a queen size bed. The room is very big and easily has room for a King. This would keep me from renting the property again but this is the only thing. The home, location and property managers couldn't have been any better. The property managers, Tony & Jo were helpful beyond our expectations.

Perfection
Posted Sep. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayWent to a Utila with my sister and daughter to dive. The house is even better than the pictures with a great snorkel and dive site right out front. Jo and Tony were extremely helpful and also picked us up from the airport!

As Good as it Gets
Posted Feb. 15, 2023 on HomeAwayExcellently appointed villa. We wanted for nothing.
Ocean/mountain vistas from deck/pool were mesmerizing. The tidal pool was our private aquarium and fun to watch as the various inhabitants came and went. Walk/swim to the reef where dive boats flock beyond the break daily.
The Point and Bando Beach are a stone's throw for an easy meal or drinks. A short walk or tuk-tuk ride brings you to town which is lined with dive shops, restaurants, bars and an often a bustling street.
We never encountered an unhelpful or unfriendly local or ex-pat. Nice people.
We were searching for a laid-back, friendly, value destination that offered fun activities. We've found it in Utila and will always look to stay at Key Lime.

Amazing view and location!
Posted Jan. 27, 2022 on HomeAwayThis home could not be in a better location-a quick bike ride to all of the restaurants, grocery stores and dive shops while being in a quiet neighborhood. The view is simply stunning and the snorkeling right behind the house is top notch.
The home is stocked with anything you could possibly need for a great vacation and was spotlessly clean. The pool was an added bonus! If we could suggest anything at all it would be to add cushioned mattress toppers to the beds. The mattresses are comfortable but just a bit firm for our aches and pains. This would not keep us from staying at Key Lime Casa on our next trip though!
Tony and Jo were wonderful hosts. From assisting with transporting our luggage to arranging for our return Covid tests, they were always responsive, friendly and helpful.
There was nobody staying below us in the two bedroom apartment and that really added to the privacy. We would love to come back with our college-age kids and rent the entire place! The lower level apartment would be perfect for our young adults-completely separate area with kitchen to keep their noise at bay! 😆

We felt like we were home!

From the moment we arrived on Utila from the Roatan ferry, we were greeted by lovely people & when we walked into the Key Lime house, the view of the Caribbean took my breath away. Pictures don't do it justice & the local folks we met (and those from elsewhere that call Utila home) have become a permanent part of our hearts & lives. We can't wait to return!
