Publié le 3 nov. 2017 sur HotelsLe séjour s'est merveilleusement bien passé! Les hôtes étaient extrêmement charmants, très prévenants et ont à coeur de faire découvrir leursplendide île. Si vous allez à Islay, n'hésitez pas!
Cette guest house est très bien située, dans un environnement paisible à souhait, et les prestations sont top. Le petit déjeuner est mémorable !

We are usually able to help arrange some of the more sought after tours and help with dinner reservations where allowed to help. All these little things mean you have the best experience every where you go on our beautiful little island.

Emma and Graeme are the penultimate hosts. Meals and breakfasts are beyond description. All of the rooms in the house are exquisite. This was my second time here and it only gets better. I always feel at home, part of the family when visiting (including another time with her mum Rachel). It is ideal to explore Islay or for Scotch tastings. Thanks for a great stay - too short! The culinary delights at Glengedale House were a highlight of our stay. Each meal was prepared to perfection using fresh, local ingredients, truly capturing the essence of Islay's rich flavors. The whisky porridge was a breakfast revelation—smooth, creamy, and with just the right hint of the island's famed whisky. Our seafood buffet for two, sourced straight from the sea that very morning, was an unforgettable feast of the ocean's finest, showcasing the freshest catch and culinary mastery.
Every detail at Glengedale House was impeccable, making our stay as comfortable as it was delightful. The charm of this bed and breakfast, coupled with the warm, attentive care from Emma and Graham, made our visit truly special. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. We left with our hearts full and can't wait to return to this slice of paradise.

Islay Visit

Their house is beautiful, they take very great care and attention to all their guests and provide amazing food and service. Our seafood platter was enormous and spectacular and the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful including a wonderful porridge (“Graeme’s Porridge”) and locally sourced salmon, sausages, bacon, and organic eggs. We leave very happy to have stayed there ..and carrying an extra few kilos :).
