Modern home with easy access to Cayuga Lake, Ithaca and Cornell

Just 10 minutes to Cayuga Lake, 10 minutes to Cornell and 15 to Ithaca College, our home sits on more than 2 acres in Lansing. Built in 2013, it features 3 bedrooms accommodating 6, plus two downstairs couches and a queen-size inflatable mattress for the den, so the whole family can enjoy. There are 3 full baths, and the downstairs bath is wheelchair accessible. Enjoy 2 large TVs with high-speed internet, plus a 20' by 20' foot deck, table and seating for 8, plus grill, fire pit and a beautiful back yard for playing corn hole, tossing the Frisbee and enjoying sunset. The playhouse for children has lighting inside and outside.

Very nice place
We stayed here for a week in July. The house is as described, very clean, nicely laid out, good A/C. Prior to booking, we asked questions, and Mead always answered very promptly. He also supplied plenty of hand soaps, paper towels, paper napkins, and kleenix boxes. The house is not far from plenty of activities, waterfalls. We would stay here again

Lake Cayuga Cobra trip
We are two couples that travel each summer with our small sports cars. This property was perfect for us. Having access to a 2 car garage can make or break our trip. The home was as advertised. Hosts were very accommodating. There is also a whole house generator which came into play when we lost power for about 4 hours. We were very local to a number of restaurants. Had a great Cobra ride around the whole lake and took a very informative boat ride on the "Teal". Would recommend 100%.

Mead was an excellent Host. Everything in the house was immaculate. He provided all the information about the house and the things to do in and around Ithaca. We liked the house and the location. The backyard was awesome with big deck, BBQ, Outdoor dining set and the gas fire place in the backyard. We highly recommend this place. And if decide to go back to Finger Lakes we will certainly stay at his place.

Fun family stay
This property worked very well for the four of us. The home is spacious, clean, and well-stocked. The weather was too hot for us to take advantage of the outdoor offerings, but it was a very nice, quiet place for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The commute to Ithaca was manageable, but we would like to have closer or in town, I would highly recommend this property to travelers in the Finger Lakes who like privacy and lots of space.

Just perfect!
This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. We were in Ithaca for our grandson's bar mitzvah and needed a home that would accommodate us, two of our children, and our 4 and 5 year old grandchildren. The bedroom and bathroom spaces worked comfortably for all of us. Having the queen size air mattress set up in the den was a bonus. The kitchen, living room, dining space and deck all flowed beautifully. The deck with ample seating space, the beautiful yard, the fire pit area and the playhouse added to the delights of this house. Our grandchildren were crazy about the playhouse and loved running around the yard. Sitting on the deck and watching the kids play was perfect. Mead was super easy to deal with, always responsive and very accommodating. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. This house was just what we needed. Thank you!

The property is beautiful, there was everything provided for a very comfortable stay, and it was reasonably close to town. Highly recommend. The only complaint I could possibly have is that the hand soap in all the bathrooms seemed watered down. No actual problems or disappointments here though!!

Wonderful stay!
What a great place to stay just outside Ithaca! We spent a weekend with 3 adults and 4 children between the ages of 8 and 11 in this large and spotlessly clean house surrounded by open space and lovely views. When we weren’t sightseeing, the kids enjoyed playing hide-and-seek, baseball, football (we brought the balls and bat with us), and just talking to each other on the hammock under a large shade tree on the backyard. There were also games in the shed and an adorable playhouse that my granddaughter loved in the yard. The house had everything we needed (and then some) in the way of supplies, which made our stay much easier - paper goods, cleaning supplies, more than enough towels, games, and even some basics like spices and olive oil. As noted earlier, the house was spotless. Having 3 bathrooms was so helpful, too, with 7 of us, especially on the day we arrived back at the house soaking wet and muddy, having been caught in a torrential downpour while at the the furthest point from the parking lot at Taughannock Falls! We were close to Ithaca (about 10 minutes), and there were a few restaurants close by the house. We ordered pizza one night, and cooked our farmers market purchases one night because we preferred hanging out on the deck to eating in a restaurant. Highly recommend this great getaway, and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

A++ Stay. Clean and Comfortable!!
Beautiful views. Excellent location. Wonderful deck. The air mattress in the den created an additional bedroom for us. One of the best rentals we have experienced. And the firefly show in the backyard was astounding. Plan to visit a Ithaca again in the near future and hope this home will be available. Highly recommend!!!!

The Wedding Crashers !
We all thought the home and property were beautiful ! Your list of do's and don'ts were very helpful, and we're sorry to hear about your Wife being a Wine oh. We wish we would of had more time to enjoy everything. Just to be helpful, I would do something with the front porch access, as it was hard for me to navigate with my walker. (I'm handicapped) Any older folks may have a problem with it also ? We tried to leave it exactly as we found it, and if we ever get out that way again, you can expect a call from us again ! Thank You for all of your help and answers to my questions I asked you. You're providing a wonderful service to people, and making their experiences memorable for sure ! We all loved it ! We stayed here for a local wedding. The location and house were great! Very close to nearby vineyards, and the house was lovely and very well kept! Wish we had more time here to take advantage of the fire pit and back deck. We'd love to return.

An incredibly lovely home and an unmatched property
We stayed here for 3 nights for the Cornell, 2023 graduation. The house is beautiful and perfectly appointed, and the host is the most responsive and kind individual. It is a stunning 10 minute drive along Cayuga Lake from downtown Ithaca, and the property is absolutely amazing. Large smooth rolling green lawn with games in the shed, a propane fire pit, a hammock, and a deck. We were pretty busy with graduation activities so didn't get to spend as much time at the house as we would have liked, but we did watch the sunset while sitting by the fire pit on our last night, and it was the most wonderful end to a perfect weekend! Thank you, Mead, for everything! We will be back!

Best house for a family reunion!
This place was extremely clean! Down to the appliances! We had more than enough space for everyone. The deck is huge! As a taller person, I loved the tall dining room table and deck table. The kids loved the playhouse! Equipped with a TV and a loft bed to hang out. It was raining during our stay and we didn't get to use the fire pit or the yard games but what a great bonus! Firm beds and couches. Communication was great! We will definitely return! Thanks so much for sharing your house Mead!
