The large bed I booked was actually two twin beds pushed together with nothing to bridge the gap so I basically slept on a twin bed since I wasn't going to be able to sleep on top of the gap between the mattresses.
The hotel was clean, the free breakfast is fine, and the staff is friendly. However, this is not a hotel to rely on the staff for suggestions. They might be more helpful to Turkish speakers but the one time I was given restaurant advice, he sent me to a place for lunch that is not open at lunchtime.

We felt for Izmir this was great value and we were pleased with the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. Our room was exceptionally spacious and all updated. The location was walkable to many sites. Just a little off the main street in a techie area. We were comfortable but that is the only reason for rating it good instead of excellent. Overall yes I’d book there again.

Staff were friendly, place was great. Free water, tea and coffee near reception. Breakfast was good ( a lot of options). Less than 10min to open market and pier. 3 min walk to the tram. Always someone at both entrances
