Fantastic! Out of the World!
Publié le 10 mai 2023 sur HotelsThis Hotel needs no introduction in Jabalpur. The first word which comes to everyone's mouth talking about Vijan Mahal is WOW. We stayed in Resort Room. The room was so big, the bathrooms were having the wold class Shower Panels. Extraordinary Service on their Hotel and restaurant all the time. The buffet spread in their Dinner and Breakfast was out of the World. Also they had an Amazing play area for the kids.

The night we arrived and entered our room , the bedding was definitely used ( hair and stains ) so asked them to change room . Same there then we got them to change bedding , which took about at least 8 sets to find a reasonable set. We notice the duvet and mattress topper had filthy stains so had to get that changed but still a mediocre replacement. By this time it was midnight.
Next day we bought our own sheets to use .
Coming to the bathroom there was mouldy deposit on the edges of the floor and the roller blind which was for privacy from the bedroom as there was a glass wall there ( who designed this ?) . My sis met a friend who knew a senior in the hotel so complained and got the blind (not great but ok) and bedding )managed to find new )changed.
The bathroom was not rid of mold till we spoke with them again. We were shown other rooms but they were all unkempt and in the same state of unclean condition.
We only used the hotel to sleep as we had family and friends in town.
We stayed for 5 nights in discomfort because of unhygienic state of our room.
The staff are very good but not sure they understand what a good standard of cleanliness is especially as they claim it as a five star hotel.
It is barely a 3 star I would say .

They host so many marriages that the rooms get a lot of noise.

Clean rooms, nice food, but don’t pay in advance
Publié le 1 mars 2022 sur HotelsStaff friendly, but when we complained of loud music and partying people in next room at 3:40 am nothing was done. After complaining to a manager in the morning, some vague promise to do something was done, but nothing had happened. In so high rated hotel I would expect some kind of refund - discount, dinner, spa…? In the evening still pretended they investigate it, This spoiled not only our night, but also following day - we came to visit some place, not to be tired and sleepy. There was no possibility to sit outside, no seats at pool areas. The big pool was closed fro two afternoons because of some functions.
