Stunning location

Stopped overnight here when driving from Quebec to Boston. Beautiful location and setting and the cabins were of a really high standard. Joe was friendly and helpful

Big and comfortable room

2 queen bedroom is clean, big and comfortable. Hot water on demand but had to wait for about a minute for it to start running. Shower pressure is good. Quick check in though the staff was not expecting us as we had booked on the same morning.

Beautiful setting, beautiful lodge. Tasteful and comfortable room. Great staff. Could have used a hook in bathroom to hang clothing. Otherwise, exceptional.

All in all the place was very nice. Surrounding were spectacular - very beautiful lakefront - very relaxing and quiet. Can't say the same for the room itself. It was very noisy owing to the proximity to the highway where heavy trucks roared by about every 20 minutes beginning around 3AM/

Thank you for your review - I apologize if the noise from the road was a problem for you. Please consider renting one of our cabins next time as they are further from the road and buffered by our parking lot and trees. I hope the room was clean and comfortable other than the noise. Hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Great out of the way getaway

Visited in the off-season so the place was pretty much ours to run. Such a nice and serene place right by the lake. The interior was exactly what was expected with phenomenally comfortable beds and a ton of towels (how can other hotels not do this?). Had a crazy experience tied to a lightning strike right next to the cabin, but that is obviously an anomaly and has no impact on the review beside adding a lot more adventure to our story.

Most relaxing

We arrived late after dark and our room was ready and waiting on our arrival. Room was fittingly rustic and beautiful, and even had a loft! Cool! Awoke in the morning to a glass smooth lake and sunshine. Kayaks are freely available for use. Use them!! It was wonderful and oh so peaceful. Liz was always available and helpful as was the property manager (sorry, forgot his name). The only issue there was, was a missing screen on one of the windows. See, that's it! This place is awesome!! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time!
